The first book I finished in 2021 was Indelicacy by Amina Cain, a concise book that I whizzed through. I think it has set the tone for the kind of books I want to read this year: fresh, unique, and with something to say! I really enjoyed the way that Cain discussed class and social mobility in such personal ways, and the book had a truly timeless feel to it. There was something of the Rebecca in it, which I loved
