Boroughsburg has been updated with a wonderful curation of residential and community lots, and improvements have been made to nearly every aspects of the world!
But in addition to these improvements, a customized populated savegame has also been created—this is Boroughsburg’s Story Mode—and with more than 80 diverse sims (and many more townies), this savegame allows you to immediately jump right into Boroughsburg—right into the tangle and drama of these sims’ lives!

Boroughsburg is a mashup of DUMBO, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Long Island City, and Astoria- but is open enough that you can build whatever bit of New York City you want in it.
Boroughsburg is a medium city world, with a total of 73 lots.
Nearly all lots are filled in, but some lots are left unbuilt at your discretion to fill in.
The world also contains two dive lots, three docks, a base camp, and a homeworld university! Perfect for travellers!
Lot assignment has been carefully selected to ensure that nearly all community lots are regularly populated.
Uninhabited base world, but includes an inhabited & customized savegame. I highly recommend playing in the savegame first.
Should run relatively smoothly on mid-high-tier computers. Created on Windows 7 | Processor Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz | Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | RAM 32 GB

CC Notes
All custom-made CC is included in several packages. You must install them or else all you’ll get is an empty black world!
Includes recolors & replacements of the hot air balloon, train, police car, firetruck, taxis, flags, moon, clouds and weather made specifically for a New York environment- if you want to see these in action, you will need to remove other default replacement mods first.

Hi all, first of all, thanks for your amazing support!
Secondly- a small optional update! I found some redundant/oversized image files in PotatoBalladSims_Boroughsburg_LotContent.packageandPotatoBalladSims_Boroughsburg_Rabbitholes.package, optimized the packages, and managed to reduce them (23 MB >>> 10 MB combined).
You will just need to download ‘0_2 WORLD CC PLACE INTO MODS FOLDER.rar’ again.
There are no changes to the functionality of the objects, but hopefully it’ll reduce your loading times by a bit!
Another note- if you don’t have ITF (frankly not a popular EP), I highly recommend you grab the circled basegame-compatible objects below, as those are the most commonly used objects from the pack (along with the glass floor rugs and the recessed lighting).
The below objects are used once, mainly on the festival lot and the Speedy Computer Repair Ltd. lot. There are a couple more items, but they’re mostly decorative.

It’s perfectly fine to reuse Boroughsburg’s objects in your worlds, but please link back to the original download page instead of including the objects in your download. I hope to release a separate download with some of the objects later on.
This emptied version of Lucky Palms is my favorite go-to when I want to build my own desert lots, especially for historical gameplay without all the modern bits. Unfortunately, the links disappeared when Equus shut down, so I reuploaded it to SFS over at ScifiTS3CCBlog.
Crow’s Mermaida world made a huge splash, but after I saw this incredible WIP postby@crowkeeperthesimmer, I just had to beggrovel ask for the beta version to play around in. It’s my goal to turn it into a Chinese/Japanese mythical wonderland.
TBH this is my most used world in all of TS3. I use it CONSTANTLY.
It’s totally empty, but is big enough and versatile enough that I can make it whatever I want to be (I modded the default roads for futuristic and medieval gameplay). Most of the time I’m posting gameplay pics, it’s using Builder’s Island.
Boroughsburg is the most jaw-dropping creation ever. I am from Brooklyn; it’s STUNNING how much attention to detail went into getting the NYC vibe just right!
I had been using Saint Claire for all my city metropolis needs, but as soon as BB was released I dropped that world like a bad habit! XD I primarily use Boroughsburg for my Malec gameplay, as the scenery is pristine.
Not to mention, I just love how Boroughsburg makes EA look like the biggest CLOWNS on earth for whatever they thought they were doing with Bridgeport and San Myshuno. EMBARRASSING.
Tokyosou by KieraPhoenix at the Exchange is like the alpha version of this world; it addresses all my biggest issues with Tokyo Town: that it has no Mount Fuji (which is a crime), and that aside from its feature zones it’s really empty.
Tokyo Town is great for builders who want the freedom to customize from the ground up, but Tokyosou is perfect for when you need a Japanese world ready to play in.
Today Im turning 39 and I couldn’t help but wonder: in a place as youth-obsessed as Boroughsburg, there’s still space for women over 40?
Will my future self find a place…
After all, it seems like I’ve already done everything…
I’ve been all over this town with my girls, including the “no visitors allowed” lots!
I’ve bought countless pairs of shoes, even when I didn’t have money to pay rent!
I’ve had countless dates and relationships… Now I can say I like them “big” ;)
I’ve had a successful writing career. Can you believe I’ve already published my second book?
And last but not least, I’ve met the most beautiful and intelligent women in town. They say nothing lasts forever, but friendships never go out of style :)
Someday I’ll be in my 50s…
Will life in Boroughsburg be as passionate for me then? I dont know… but as long as I can enjoy the company of my friends and the smell of new shoes… I know I’ll be happy.

When the club closes its doors, Barbra becomes Michael, a proud LGBTQIA+ activist. What do you do on your free time?

Tonight is Kelly and Frankie’s debut concert! They have been rehearsing for several months.
Frankie is 40 years old and he works as a guitar teacher. He is a master! He met Kelly, 21, in a karaoke and quickly realized they had to do a show together. She sings like an angel!
The concert takes place in “The Conservatory” a live music bar I made in Boroughsburg (best world ever by @potato-ballad-sims)
Every thursday they organize an open mic to support new artists. They also serve the best cocktails on town!

Everybody knows that Boroughsburg is the city that never sleeps, thats why the Lonnie’s corner never closes! It starts offering their famous breakfast from 03:00 am! Crazy, right?
This is Daisy. She has been taking orders and serving food from almost 30 years, and she is a little… tired.
Dealing with homeless, troublemakers and drunk customers is not her dream…
…but well, all she got to do is wait for the time to the take out the trash!

Last night, some of my favourite sims decided to party the night away! They visited the Ellington’s bar, a club I made for Boroughsburg world (Best world ever) by the great @potato-ballad-sims
