This was really tricky! Too many to choose from!
I would probably have to say WOEFORDby@simsmidgenand@nornities is my number one, which will surprise absolutely no-one. It was so much fun helping to build some lots for Woeford with my friends and an incredibly fun world to play in too. So it has a truly special place in my heart. Absolutely love the aesthetic. Perfect!
Very close in second place, and also very close to my heart, would be AMBERVILLE by Create-A-World Blog which I adapted to my own style to an extent. I’ve spent hundreds of hours happily playing in this world. Absolutely love it.
Third would be MERMAIDIA by@crowkeeperthesimmer. Wow, this is such a feast for the eyes, so beautiful. The buildings are absolutely incredible and it is just so perfectly realised, every tiny detail. Just amazing! The only reason why it isn’t my number one is because I’m too attached to my disgusting, slobby Sims and they would look entirely out of place in Mermaidia I still have my save game though and hope to return at some point to try to solve those really tricky tombs.
Fourth would be, probably controversially, EA’s Into The Future World OASIS LANDING. Firstly I felt I should include at least one EA world and secondly of all EA worlds, other than Al Simhara, this is where I have probably spent the most time playing. I feel like EA really put a lot of effort into this world. I like the futuristic part of the world, but the wasteland is great as is the separate “retro” town in the hills where you can build/ place your own lots. There is a lot going on in this world and I honestly would love to be able to play it as a stand alone world without all the “travel to the future” bit but you can immediately stay there indefinitely unlike the other EA destination worlds.
(And now I’m going to be sneaky and add in an extra contender by saying that if futuristic dystopia is your thing, then it’s got to be CRONORby@nornitiesand@crowkeeperthesimmer - absolutely outstanding).
Finally, even though I haven’t played in it for absolutely years, PRATO DI LIVORI by Latoya Sims. This is such a gorgeous world. What Monte Vista could have been. The essence of a small Italian town in the countryside captured. But it is empty, large and has tons of trees, which makes its lifespan short as a save game if you build it up yourself. If I had any CAW abilities at all I would attempt to make it playable because it is just so beautiful.

#5)JennaRawlings’ New Nevada at EquusSims
This emptied version of Lucky Palms is my favorite go-to when I want to build my own desert lots, especially for historical gameplay without all the modern bits. Unfortunately, the links disappeared when Equus shut down, so I reuploaded it to SFS over at ScifiTS3CCBlog.

Crow’s Mermaida world made a huge splash, but after I saw this incredible WIP postby@crowkeeperthesimmer, I just had to beggrovel ask for the beta version to play around in. It’s my goal to turn it into a Chinese/Japanese mythical wonderland.
#3)QBUILDERZ‘s(Bigger) Builder’s Island at MTS
TBH this is my most used world in all of TS3. I use it CONSTANTLY.
It’s totally empty, but is big enough and versatile enough that I can make it whatever I want to be (I modded the default roads for futuristic and medieval gameplay). Most of the time I’m posting gameplay pics, it’s using Builder’s Island.

Boroughsburg is the most jaw-dropping creation ever. I am from Brooklyn; it’s STUNNING how much attention to detail went into getting the NYC vibe just right!
I had been using Saint Claire for all my city metropolis needs, but as soon as BB was released I dropped that world like a bad habit! XD I primarily use Boroughsburg for my Malec gameplay, as the scenery is pristine.
Not to mention, I just love how Boroughsburg makes EA look like the biggest CLOWNS on earth for whatever they thought they were doing with Bridgeport and San Myshuno. EMBARRASSING.
#1) noiranddarksims’ Tokyo Town (beta)/KieraPhoenix’s Tokyosou
Until I’m able to hop on a plane to Japan (and never come back), I’ll live vicariously through all the sims I’ve put in this world. It’s my go-to Asian world if I’m not using Shang Simla,
Tokyosou by KieraPhoenix at the Exchange is like the alpha version of this world; it addresses all my biggest issues with Tokyo Town: that it has no Mount Fuji (which is a crime), and that aside from its feature zones it’s really empty.
Tokyo Town is great for builders who want the freedom to customize from the ground up, but Tokyosou is perfect for when you need a Japanese world ready to play in.

LOST COVE UPDATE 2020 is here !
Are you ready for a bold challenge ?
Here some screenshots ( maybe you already saw them before ) of the first world we made in 2015. An update was needed to continue the adventure and it is done now :)
With15 community lots included, you have everything you need to survive in our post-apo world :D We’ll post them separately in a sooner as possible post.

The update should resolve the bugs you maybe had in the older version. As said in the other post, we changed 2 major grass textures. We added a small park and modified few things in some community lots.
This an unpopulated world and it’s entirely up to you to choose what kind of Sims you want to play with ;)
There are 2 or 3 ways to populate a world and many threads around the web to show you how step by step. Do not worry, it’s quite easy indeed :)
I have everything sims 3 related but I installed my game until Island Paradise 1.67 ( patch ) and there are too some cc but not much really. The listing with credits is on our website.
IMPORTANT : Delete any previous version of Lost Cove before installing the new 2020 version !!!
The tools I used : CAW ( Create a World last version ) and Sims3 PE
Next : a necessary update of Oaksoak Hollow … soon on your screen !

Sims 3 World - Lost Cove ( Update 2020 )
Hello fellow Simmers :)
I hope everyone is fine. I know I’m away for a while but I have to spend my summertime to many stuff and things far away from our beloved universe :D And as you already know, summertime means to me much more Sims 3 than Sims 4. Usually a new World … But not this year ;)
This year, I felt the urge to update the 2 previous worlds I already made, and we begin with … Lost Cove!
To people who never played the Sims 3 : gosh! You missed something !!! Let’s face it : even I love the Sims 4, well, the Sims 3 are so much bolder … even now, few years after the sims 4 release.
But What is Lost Cove exactly ? Well, to resume it, it is a world which is a whole challenge in itself :D
Something terrible happened in some parts of the Sims Worlds. A pandemic stuff ? An ecological catastrophe ? A terrible magical accident ? Zombies ? Aliens ? Nobody knows and rumors are … well … rumors.
All you know for sure is you have to rebuild a new world … but how ? And what kind of world are you going to rebuild ???
It is based on Island Paradise, but we changed everything and left only 1 road to get another kind of gaming experiment. So, we hope your Sims are running well and swimming like a dolphin because well … You’ll see :D
Sorry for the palm trees lovers : all the trees have been modified to get a more northern atmosphere.
All modern buildings have been removed to give a true feeling of abandonment. The only ones remaining are into the sea, a sad reminder of not so ancient times …
Almost every business has been removed : the left ones give the opportunity to survive to fantastic summers and awfully frozen winters meaning for example no more grocery store where to find everything you may need. But you get a tiny market where to buy fresh products.
The Supernatural lovers are lucky : the only bar is a Vampire’s lounge … and there is still an Elixir Corner and a Gypsy Fortune Teller;)
The Consignment Store is a Flee Market. No more, no less. Very useful in these times of need ;)
Builders and gardeners are in heaven. But you will need more to success your challenge :)
Hours and hours of gaming are waiting for you.
Whet is inside the update ?
- We changed the grass textures.
- We redid some lots and we made some others
- We added our own rabbit holes we made last year ( you can find them here : https://k-hippie.tumblr.com/post/183998948996/mod-rabbitholes-square-rugs-based-on-jynxs )
- We tested again and again for hours and hours ;)
-We made a video for you :D to have a look and a resume of the world
- We tracked a bug ( for an unknown reason, some people couldn’t get to move a Sims on a lot ) Oo … As this world has been made in 2014, we suppose something got wrong somewhere. No more clue.

EUREKA VALLEY - NEW Q&A …
Surprisingly, we received new questions related to our Sims 3 Worlds : mainly Oaksoak HollowandEureka Valley … I say “surprisingly” because usually we do not receive many ones ;) except when a new sims 4 world arrives on the market. And it is ALWAYS the same one : Are you going to do it ? So, I’m so pleased to answer different kind of questions today :) And hope my answers will be ok :D
I just discover your worlds! Is Oaksoak Hollow populated?
No. None of our worlds are populated. But we provide a save game which is a populated one with maxis based Sims. Up to you to play with or without. With NRAAS, you may populate quite easily a world.
The stories are a nice touch. Where it comes from?
Well, that’s an interesting point indeed. Our first world : Lost Cove was an almost empty world because we wanted to make something really different: Harder to survive. No roads, no comfortable house, no grocery store, and so on … We imagined a full story around such as a post apocalyptic situation. Our story tellings begin with Lost Cove and because I need to be motivated to make a world, I need a good story :D So we made the same with Oaksoak HollowandEureka Valley … Can’t really tell more about. Inspiration is sometimes very tiny :D
Your worlds are big. Would you mind to make smaller one?
Yes.Eureka Valley is already smaller than Oksoak Hollow. The next world should be a bit smaller than Eureka Valley … Its name is Shetland Harbour!
Do you intend to update your worlds?
Yes. The next update of Oaksoak Hollow will be mainly about community lots corrections and furniture inside residential lots. And things here and there.
Lost Cove does not really need an update since it is upon players to build/rebuild the world. And Eureka Valley will be updated later in the year.
I don’t play Sims4 anymore but I love your work! Will you convert your walls and floors?
Aaaarrrggg … Yes. I already wrote it ( do not remember in which post ) but sims 3 tools are not as cool and easy as the sims 4 ones ;) so, it will take some times. And most important, the final render is not at all the same depending of … well I don’t really know. Must learn deeper and dig again for tips.
I already did few things that are included in the CC folder I share on our website. For more, you’ll have to be patient :D

OAKSOAK HOLLOW 2020
Oaksoak Hollow update is available :)
As previously said, we reworked the world to be more playable … It is quite a large world, unpopulated with 60 pre-installed lots ( 34 Community lots and 26 Residential lots ) The complete listing and the credits for some lots we used is on our website. Most of the community lots are homemade by the k-hippie team;)
We tested and played 3 weeks long on 2 different computers ( one Mac and one PC ) in this world and didn’t get any problem at all. So, we suppose everything will run fine for you ;)
Maybe you already know : Oaksoak Hollow is based on Hidden Springs where we changed almost everything : the terrains, the lots, the look and feel, the ambiance, the population, etc … until we get what we wanted : a kind of Mystic Falls ( from the TV show ) for the Sims. So ……… Many supernatural are floating around in this 2020 update :)
To avoid any confusion with the previous version of Oaksoak Hollow, we renamed ALL the lots which begin now with the name : mystic
To get the whole stuff working fine, here a short todo list :
-Uninstall the previous version of Oaksoak Hollow
- We use some rabbit holes : some are ours ( link here ) the others are Jynx doors rabbit holes. They must be installed BEFORE installing the world itself. They are .package and must be installed inside your Mod folder.
- To avoid a well known and common problem in the Sims 3, you should install the Festival Lot once the world is installed and played.
- To be sure to avoid any bug, we removed the Oaksoak Hollow University from the pre-installed lots. You shouldn’t have any problem if you install it in your game after everything else.
That’s all. EVERYTHING else is running smooth :)

As already said in the 2 previous posts, we had to make choices to render the world smoother to play : Even we loved the previous City Hall, we replace it with a Maxis one. Idem with the Police Station, the Military Base and the Hospital. But do not worry, you’ll find everything is fitting really well ;)
We hope you’ll get much fun to play this World and imagine dark and mysteries because, indeed there is dark history floating inside Oaksoak Hollow…
We are glad to have updated our 2 worlds. Now, we can begin to think about new creations and for sure, it will be a very different world :D

New update to the map of Tørsvall’s main town! I thought it hadn’t changed that much, but comparing this picture to my last one, it’s actually expanded quite a lot!
Two quick things - I put 3a instead of 4 because I have a horrible OCD fear of the number 4 . Also because I am ~extra~ the compass at the top left actually points to the north (given sunrise and sunset positions)
Below the cut I’ll put a list of all the lots! I’ll include a link to lots that I’ve already showcased, and put lot names in italics if I haven’t decided on a name for it yet :)
