What are the thoughts around commemorative awards in Fallout?

I think along with making their own ribbons/medals, the NCR would probably recycle pre-war ones and give them new meanings. I refuse to believe they don’t have any other decorations besides those stars you see on General Oliver’s uniform.

The Brotherhood seem like they would have a completely different mode of memorializing service. Maybe they’d use coins the most? Not really something you’d wear but can still show off…? Think that’d be pretty cool.

Thinking about doing some sort of POV trip report based on the rite of passage quest from honest hearts. It’s a cool idea but I can’t write very gooders
