My piece for Seal the Darkness Zine, Linktober’s LoZ Sword zine! I had the honour of drawing the Royal Broadsword for my piece. I really wanted to focus on the sword as a symbol of the royal family and the weight of duty that Zelda felt, both in the past and carrying forward into the new world.
A quick rough watercolour sketch of Zelda, to think about how I want to execute the bigger piece of her I am working on. Been a few months since I’ve really done some full watercolour work, and trying to have some more saturated colours.
Rough colour sketch for a new painting to start tomorrow. Still feeling many feels about Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Gonna keep living in that world for a bit.
