I’m sorry I have been so absent. Things have been hectic, what with starting to sell things on cons and fairs and such. I left my volunteer gig and started on graphic design classes, which are awesome but are taking up a lot of my time and energy. I’m also working on my daily schedules, and above all, on resting a lot! And it doesn’t help that most the work I’ve done can’t be shown >.<
If you’re interested in keeping up with me i’ve been far more active on instagramandtwitter!
Day 31. And this marks the end of this year’s inktober! Thanks for sticking with me ❤ My point with this series was mainly to address gender. I feel like femininity is perceived as weakness, and women as lesser and fragile beings. As such, men who sometimes display “feminine” atitudes are seen as lesser men, as weaker people, or just abnormal men. That goes for trans men as well, who I feel, and correct me if I’m wrong, are pushed to perform 100% masculine with their identity at stake. Agender, NB, and generally genderqueer folks get their identities erased for performing more or less feminine or masculine. So with this series I tried to play and express my thoughts about this subject, how a pair of panties doesn’t make you less masculine, or how masculinity itself can be so toxic. How trans men are still men, no matter their bodies or how they perform their gender. And hopefully I was able to start a conversation about this. I hope you all enjoyed this series as much as I enjoyed making it ❤
