With the upcoming Vans House Parties about to sound off, we’re taking five and getting to know a little bit about artist Chris Bigg whose immersive ‘All Nerve’ analogue installation will be on view while the music by The Breeders, Palehound and Divino Niño roar through the HOV Chicago venue tonight!

What’s your favorite thing about summer?

The longer warmer days–I feel like I get more done! The brighter days lift the spirit.

How do you TAKE FIVE and chill out when you’re not arting?

Running is my thing; it’s always been a passion; it’s my meditation & sets me up for the day. I become a little un-reasonable when and if I don’t manage to get out for a few days!

Beach or swimming pool?

Has to be the beach. I originally come from Brighton (A seaside town they forgot to close down). I lived in London for 20 years, but I have retuned to the coast. I live in a small town called Ryde, on the Isle of Wight. I can see the sea
from my studio window!

Pizza or tacos?

Love them both, but today it would be pizza today and tacos tomorrow!
