I feel like we’ve been looking at this all wrong.

The earrings consist of a gold bow, with a diamond and ruby centered flower, and aquamarine typed crown over it.

Also the way the flower is curved I’m thinking this may have been apart of the queen mother’s or queen Victoria’s collection.

Look at some of the earrings QEII has worn that were from them. Im thinking they are victorian.

Could it be Kate is wearing the same earrings?

This is from the clearest image of the Queen wearing them that I could find. She’s only wore them publicly once in 1949 and then Kate’s worn them in February 2018 and May 2021. It came up both times that these might be the same earrings and I don’t think there’s been any clear conclusions. I’m leaning toward them not being the same but I’m with you that the style looks very vintage.
