This week, we wanted to share another #browngirl we love: Nabila Ahmed!
“I feel like growing up and going to school, being a young girl of color was always on the forefront of my mind. I felt embarrassed about speaking Bengali and about the food my mom made, I desperately wanted to assimilate and that lead to a lot of butting of heads with my parents. It took a lot of online articles and good friends but finally I learned love everything about me.”
