Avoidance can look so pretty. But really, I have practice in two hours, a homemade vegan chickpea curry on the stove, some of my (controversial) fall favorites in the candy bowl, a new planner - ready for my bright red pen, and the never dull (I’m lying) Graduate Literature degree homework to keep me busy. A little Bridge City later, and a perfect rainy, cloudy day in Portland.

I don’t know how else to say it. I’ve heard a hard time this week with the news, but I am happy. And this kind of fall stuff makes me feel all of the best feelings.
