A patron tried to Sherlock me when I handed him a call number. He was like “Ahh I can tell you have scientific training” and I was like “What” and he was like “You cross your sevens! They train you to do that in the sciences” and I said “Okay.”
Correcting him would have extended the conversation and we had already exceeded the Maximum Allotted Time for that
My scientific training was that one day I saw the number seven and thought to myself “Someone needs to teach this fucker a lesson” and I cut it in half and I’ve been doing that ever since. My training is in the art of the blade
