The BN Pictures YouTube channel will be hosting weekly simultaneous viewing parties to celebrate the release of TIGER & BUNNY 2, which will have guest appearances by the cast! The channel will host an episode per week, every Saturday (officially begins from Saturday 9th April at 21:00 Japan time) and will kick it off with guest appearances by Hiroaki Hirata (Kotetsu) and Masakazu Morita (Barnaby)!

Note that these weekly viewing parties will not be streaming the actual episodes on the BN Pictures channel, as the series is being exclusively delivered by Netflix. So I can only presume that we will be watching the reactions of the cast as they view each episode per week. There is also no confirmation at the moment if these videos will be region locked or not, so will have to see on the day!

Unbelievably the Netflix Anime YouTube Channel have subbed the first episode of the Watch Party, featuring Hirata Hiroaki (Kotetsu) and Morita Masakazu (Barnaby)! So boot up episode 1 over on Netflix on one screen and the watch party on another, and enjoy the commentary! Hopefully this will continue to be an ongoing weekly release from the channel. Warning of spoilers in their commentary and duo goofiness.

Also just a reminder, if you want to see more of this content by the Netflix Anime team, please leave a like and a comment on the video to let them know!

Episode 2 of the watch party with Hirata and Morita are up, enjoy more of their shenanigans! Remember to like and comment on the video!

We’ve got our first guest appearance in this week’s cast watch party, the lovely Minako Kotobuki (Karina Lyle/Blue Rose)! Can she put Hirata and Morita’s shenanigans on hold?

We continue with episode 4 of the cast watch party, this time with Sky High’s seiyuu, Inoue Gou \o/

We’ve got a very special guest joining the terrible twosome today, the director for TIGER & BUNNY 2, Mitsuko (also known as Atsuko) Kase! Watch as she fangirls over the series, being a long time fan, provides insight into her role as the director and swoons over a certain

To add to this, around the 13:00 timer mark Morita makes a comment about how Kotetsu and Antonio are like “middle aged men that you see at Shimbashi (also colloquially known as “salaryman” district in Minato, Tokyo)”. In the Japanese version of this stream, the director then responds to Morita saying “he’s only 38” referring to Antonio. This caused the Japanese fandom last week to go into an absolute melt down on Twitter, speculating over Antonio and Kotetsu, as we know from past confirmed information that they are both similar in ages. In this subbed version of the video, this comment has actually been cut out.

I can only speculate that the comment made by the director was actually a slip up on their part and at the request of Bandai Namco, they asked the subbers of this video not to include it, as both Kotetsu’s and Antonio’s year of birth have never been revealed in any official capacity, which BN may still intend on withholding that information from the public. Their day and month of birth have only been revealed as of recently after 11 years.

Based on this accidental information that was said during the stream, we think it’s quite decisive that this is likely to be their canon ages.

This is Sternbild have also updated their timeline to include a possible year of birth for both Kotetsu and Antonio, as this can be calculated now based on that info, so check it out.
