“Still…I’ve hurt so many people.” Catra continues to sew, not wanting to look at him. “Shouldn’t go so easy on me.”
“What’s easy about this for you?” Seahawk asks. “Adora isn’t here, you hate the water, and Mermista pretty much hates you.” Catra flinches at that, but he nudges her playfully. “Don’t worry. Mermista said she hated me for a long time too. Now look at us! My love for her saved the world!” He puffs out his chest heroically.
Catra raises an eyebrow. “Did it now? That’s not the story I heard.”
“My love for her distracted her long enough for Perfuma to knock her out!”
“There it is.”

Catra and Adora have set out on their own separate ventures. How did Catra get stuck having to babysit Seahawk in all this though?
Though Catra doesn’t know that Adora has to babysit Hordak. So they’re basically even.

“So, Sparkles, a new Princess Prom, huh?” Catra asks. What wasn’t new was knowing just how to twist Glimmer. “What didn’t have enough fun at the first one?”
Glimmer narrows her eyes at her, knowing that she was joking, but STILL. “Listen, you…!” Bow puts a hand on her shoulder to hold her back and Adora nudges her girlfriend’s ribs.
“Be nice, Catra.”
“So, Bow, has anyone asked you to the dance yet…?” Adora asks, for no particular reason, of course.
Bow blushes, and looks away. “No! I only plan on going if one special person decides to ask…”
“Really?” Catra inquires. “Pretty sure Perfuma will be going with Scorpia this time…”
“Uuuugh! Glimmer!” he cries, just a little embarrassed. “I’ll go with my girlfriend if she asks me.”
Glimmer acts like she wasn’t paying attention. “….oh, were you talking to me, Bow?” He moans in embarrassment and hides his head in his arms, face down on the table.

This was going to be a bad meeting if she just fainted in the middle of it. Who was she kidding? That would probably be the best outcome. “I feel weird.”
“Jeez, Wild Cat, I don’t blame you!” Scorpia takes a seat on the other side of her. “I was really nervous at my first meeting here too. Though, I was of course not actually invited. Also I was breaking and entering…”
Perfuma shoots Scorpia a warm but warning expression that, luckily, Scorpia got right away. “B-but I mean, you’re totally invited to this one! And you live here now! So you are good to go! Nothing to be nervous about at all!”

Catra had to get used to her new life in Bright Moon. And now that includes going to Princess Meetings. Lucky her.

“Did you really mean it?”
“Mean what…?” Catra mumbles, entranced by Adora’s hand.
“What you said down in the heart…” Catra looks up at her incredulously.
“Uh, that I love you?” She leans up and brushes her lips softly against hers. “Yeah, I would think you would figure that out, dummy.”
“Did you always know…?” Adora inquires, stroking her hands through her hair. “Or did you start to realize when we were together again?”
Catra guffaws. “Adora, I’ve been acutely aware of how I’ve felt about you for years.” Catra is blushing now. “I don’t know if I remember a time when I didn’t love you…”

Prime has been defeated, but now what? There’s still an entire world to rebuild before any sort of space adventuring can be done. Adora and Catra learn how to heal and how they can move forward together, but the past isn’t through with them yet.

A little (and kinda ambitious for me) catradora Valentine’s Day comic.
Brightmoon is too excited to wait for the next Princess Prom to celebrate saving the world from Prime, but Adora REALLY doesn’t want to wear that dress again. Luckily her gf is very clever and sweet (to her at least)

This was such an awesome picture and I really enjoyed working on this piece. I wanted to push the duality of Catra’s eyes being symbolism for where she is in her mental and emotional journey.
Catra is literally one of my favorite characters ever because of the depths and anger she fell to, and because she was able to turn around and make a change and works to be better.
