Catrinka is a new favorite brand of handbags & accessories for me, they are creating awesome products while making a positive social impact. I came across Catrinka at the BFDA Impact Awards. I got to see firsthand the beautiful traditional weaving techniques used in their bags and talk a bit with the founder Megan Reilly Cayten about each bag’s social impact.

The bags are handcrafted by artisan women in both Mexico and India, and the woven textiles are created using techniques traditional to Chiapas, Mexico.
