#cave painting
children leaving hand prints with paint is the same as cave paintings from millions of years ago..
The Cave Paintings of the Dordogne Valley, France, from around 15,000 BCE, are man’s earliest attempts to depict exciting crime stories.
This painting (“Un-bear-lievable” – Wall 10, Painting 5), is one of the earliest depictions of a police lineup. After a man is found dead, having been mauled and partially eaten, Gork and Lurg haul the three main suspects–Man With Rock, a bear, and Man With Bow and Arrow–into their cave-station. Gork and Lurg initially think Man With Rock did the deed, but the bear is revealed to be the real culprit when he attacks everyone and tries to maul and eat them–the very same MO as the killer.

spelldealer: THIS is the bear cave painting I was talking about, the line weight, the proportions, the fine details around the face, and the fact that this all had to be drawn from memory, idk man, it’s incredible to me. If I could meet one person from history it’d be the person that painted this bear 30,000 years ago.
