I’m disgusted to just now learn that the Academy made a NFT of Chadwick Boseman’s head for the nominees gift bags?! What the actual fuck. They literally moved the order of the awards around to anticipate us for Best Actor and he didn’t even win. The Academy didn’t care about Chadwick whatsoever, they just used his legacy for viewership and clout.
My thoughts are with Chadwick’s family and friends tonight. I’ve only just heard the news but I hope they find peace after this unfortunate passing. I hope they know how much of an inspiration he was to everyone. We lost a true hero and legend. Rest In Peace, Chadwick.
A Black Panther poster illustration I did. I really enjoyed working on this one, I had an initial idea of using traditional patterns and prints from different countries in Africa and using them to build up the Black Panthers head (Like in the back ground) but then I really wanted to draw some of the characters. I thought Danai Gurira looked amazing as Okoye and decided to add her, and I couldn’t pass up the chance to draw a Panther! :D
