English Teacher: Write a rant or story about something in the style of the Declaration of Independence
Me, already knowing I’m going to write about something Marvel-related: Will I get points off for ending my paper with “Wakanda forever”? I guess we’ll find out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is basically part two of “I disappoint my english teachers”
This is amazing
I’m just realizing that I didn’t post about our king, Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick Boseman inspired so many, that his death wasn’t just a shock. It was a upsetting, surprising event felt around the world.
As a Marvel fan, Chadwick was our king.
I am not black, and therefore not able to understand the extent of the affect his representation had. However, I do know that I greatly appreciated his representation as well. He was one of the first poc characters that I ever got to witness, and even love. I felt that I could relate to his character development.
Looking back at Black Panther reminds me of an important lessons we all will need to learn at some point.
Wakanda Forever
You have inspired a new generation of warrior kings. Your strength and kindness have moved hearts. Thank you for the light you gave this world. Find peace now, dear one. Good night.
I miss those days when we used to greet each other with the Wakanda salute on a daily basis.
As a Marvel fan, as a T'Challa fan, as a human being, oh man, what a difficult night it’s been.
Rest in power Chadwick. We’ve lost a true hero
