I’m always caught a bit off guard when other people find body horror, you know, horrifying, instead of vaguely comforting or kind of hot. Then I remember that most people do not find simply having a body to be horrifying.

(Actually, one of my favourite puns I’ve ever come up with is ‘eROTica: porn for taphonomists,’ but I digress.)I had to look up taphonomy, but this pun is incredible and other people need it in their lives.
There is a 13 year old Angel Sanctuary fic in a folder on my google drive that I never finished where the entire premise is that one of the characters’ (who is a doll doppelganger of a person) bodies starts to rot away and he and another character have sex anyway. SO I’M JUST SAYING.
