#chickens have feelings too

My 2 black Bookend Chickens.

They were not raised together and are not the same breed but have become pals.

Black Eyed Susan on the left is a Jersey Blue and the younger hen. Raven is an Australorp. Black Eyed Susan’s sister passed away a few years ago and these two became chums after that. 

She had her pick of two other brown hens, but that would not do!
