6annbrown6:

Eli have been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) it’s a cancer of the bone marrow and blood and is one of the most aggressive forms of childhood cancer. We have been doing all we could financially to see our son out of this but the year haven’t been so good to us(with the whole covid-19 and lockdown thing). Many family members came through and supported(which we do not take for granted). But in last few weeks the support and help reduced drastically ( which is understandably due to the festive season plus the second phase if covid-19). This is why we seek the public help (financially) to help us fight this together with Eli. Please help donate if you can. Thank you.

Update: Thursday, 15/April/2021

Eli has been taking all treatments and care from home since I last gave an update(the appreciation update).

Yesterday was a day of mixed emotions.

We were told that Eli’s disease count was down from over 90% pre treatment to now being between 9-12%.

We were also told that this 9-12% was disease cells that had become resistant to the chemo drugs we was receiving last round.

This being said it is important to hit these remaining cells with different, stronger chemo drugs ASAP. He was promptly in theatre last night for his intrathecal dose and commence round 2 later this afternoon.

And yeah, Eli is now old enough to have a transplant!!

This means Eli won’t get any time at home between now and transplant, which will be in 8 weeks with all things going to plan.

We need your donations, prayers, and support again through this last 8 weeks.
