#chris pine x reader

fangirlfanwritings:

Hi! Hope everything’s going good for you. I was wondering if you could do Chris Pine x reader where they find their kids (let’s make a boy and girl to even things out) watching his movies because they want to be actors when they grow up, so they’re studying his movies to pick up acting tips because he’s one of the best actors they know (obviously).

You were cleaning up breakfast when your twins, 12 year olds Luke and Lily, ran passed the kitchen towards the basement stairs. “Mom,” they shouted. “We’re having a movie day downstairs together.” Before you could respond the basement door slammed closed.

“Alrighty then.” You continued to clean and took advantage of the kids entertaining each other. You sat down with a book you’d been trying to read for months and finally dove in. Hours passed and you realized it was nearly lunch time. You made some sandwiches for you and the kids and hollered down to the basement. “Luke! Lil! Time for lunch.” After a minute they ran upstairs and sat at the table. “What are you guys doing down there?”

“Just watching movies Mom.”

“You guys want to do anything else?”

They looked at each other and shook their heads. “No, we just want to watch movies today.”

“Okay,” you were surprised. Usually these two ran all over the place, now they were content just handing out. After lunch they went back downstairs and you took advantage of your time alone again.

As evening drew near, Chris got home and as soon as he walked in the silent house he froze. “Are the kids in trouble?”

“What? Why would you think that?”

“Did they get sent to their rooms? Are they at a friend’s house? Why is it so quiet?” You laughed.

“They are downstairs. Have been all day.”

“All day?”

“They said they wanted a movie day together and have been down there since breakfast.”

“That sounds very unlike them.” He sat beside you and put an arm over your shoulder. “And it’s been this quiet all day?” You nodded with a smile. “Sounds like you had a great day then.”

“It was very nice, but I kind of miss the chaos.”

“What are they watching? We can put a pizza in the oven and go watch with them.”

“I actually don’t know.” He helped you off the couch and you both headed downstairs quietly. When you opened the theater room you saw Finest Hours playing on the screen. They were so engrossed in the film they didn’t even notice the door open.

“What do we have here?” Their heads shot to look at their Father.

“Dad!” They got up and ran to him, hugging him.

“What have you two been doing all day?”

“Watching your movies,” Luke told him.

“My movies? Why?”

“We both want to be a movie star like you Daddy,” Lily told him. “And since you’re the best, we’ve been watching your movies and taking notes.”

Your heart fluttered at their words. “That is the nicest thing I’ve heard anyone say. Thank you, guys. How about next month you two come do some set visits with me when I start filming? Does that sound fun?”

“Yes!” They jumped. “Can we really?”

“Absolutely! It’ll be great. I’ll get to have my two favorite people on set.”

“Ouch,” you hissed. “That hurt.”

“Correction. I’ll get to have two of my favorite people on set.”

You nodded. “That’s better.”

This was sweet!!!
