Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader
Prompt:Winter Wonderland: Day 31- New Year’s Eve
Summary:It’s New Year’s Eve and thanks to the craziness that was 2020, Reader and Steve almost miss it! Tony Stark, not one to pass on the biggest party night of the year, finds a way to bring the Avengers together without having everyone together. After a night of games and fun, Reader and Steve share a New Year’s kiss, and Steve slips in a quality dad joke.“Is it over yet?” You asked before sitting on the couch. You drew your legs up close and cradled a bowl of popcorn.
“No, the episode just started.” Steve said reaching for the remote. He was talking about the rerun episode of NCIS currently playing on TV. “I can change it.”
“I’m not talking about the show. I’m talking about the year.” You huffed before scooping up a handful of popcorn and tossing it into your mouth.
“We’ve still got a little way to go, Darling. We just had Christmas.” Steve laughed.
“If by a little way you mean five hours.” You handed your cellphone to him so he could see the date. Steve squinted at the screen, not quite believing what he was seeing.
“No kidding.” He exclaimed, putting your phone in the coffee table. “I didn’t have a good sense of time to begin with. Clearly our sheltering in place hasn’t helped that much. Should I switch to the ball drop?”
“TV coverage doesn’t usually start to get good until at least 9. Though I don’t think they’ll be much to cover this year.” You sighed. You continued to eat your popcorn and watched the show for a little while. You saw your phone light up and looked down to see a new notification. You swapped your popcorn bowl for the phone. “Tony’s invited us to his New Year’s Eve party.”
“He’s still having a party?” Steve frowned. “Is he insane?” Steve reached for his phone to start chastising his friend.
Awww!! A sweet way to end the year!

Pairing:Steve x Mexican American Reader Word Count: 6,838
Warnings:light smut, talks of having kids, language, drinking
A/N:This is the first time I have ever written anything for a specific type of reader. I don’t usually write for a specific race or ethnicity because I can’t speak as to the intimacy of living in that person’s shoes. By this I mean more of a family life. I’m eager to learn but for now, I will write what I know and that is a reader of my own background. I hope I don’t alienate anyone too much and that you all enjoy the story for what it is. There is a bit of Spanish in this one, but so long as you read all of the dialogue what is said is explained in English shortly after. Anyway, I’m SUPER nervous about this one, and it’s a little on the short side but I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks for your support! xoxo
This was so perfect!!!

Pairing: Steve Rogers x Reader
Prompt:Winter Wonderland: Day 18- Snow Angels
Summary:Steve and Reader are playing on their lawn making snow angels. Steve comments that they don’t look much like actual angels which eventually leads to Steve confessing something to to Reader.
*This is a re-post because I had originally posted it on the main blog last night and didn’t realize until this morning.*“You know,” Steve commented with a hint of disapproval as he helped you up off the ground. “These just kind of look like the idea of an angel.” The two of you looked down at the pair of snow angels you’d just etched into the very fluffy white ground covering below.
“Ugh, and I didn’t even get the skirt part right.” You pointed to bottom of your snow angel. It seemed your snow angel was wearing a pair of bellbottom pants instead of a dress. “Of course, yours is nearly perfect. Just once I’d like to be better than you at something.”
“You’re better at quoting movies than me.” Steve smirked.
“That’s just because I’ve had decades to re-watch them. You’ll catch up, Rogers.” You winked.
“No, I think you just have a good memory.” He complimented you. “That being said, I’m happy to re-watch any movie with you if it means having you cuddled up with me.”
This was so cute!!

All THE FEEEEELLLLLSSS!!!! I love it.
Hi! Hope everything’s going good for you. I was wondering if you could do Chris Pine x reader where they find their kids (let’s make a boy and girl to even things out) watching his movies because they want to be actors when they grow up, so they’re studying his movies to pick up acting tips because he’s one of the best actors they know (obviously).
You were cleaning up breakfast when your twins, 12 year olds Luke and Lily, ran passed the kitchen towards the basement stairs. “Mom,” they shouted. “We’re having a movie day downstairs together.” Before you could respond the basement door slammed closed.
“Alrighty then.” You continued to clean and took advantage of the kids entertaining each other. You sat down with a book you’d been trying to read for months and finally dove in. Hours passed and you realized it was nearly lunch time. You made some sandwiches for you and the kids and hollered down to the basement. “Luke! Lil! Time for lunch.” After a minute they ran upstairs and sat at the table. “What are you guys doing down there?”
“Just watching movies Mom.”
“You guys want to do anything else?”
They looked at each other and shook their heads. “No, we just want to watch movies today.”
“Okay,” you were surprised. Usually these two ran all over the place, now they were content just handing out. After lunch they went back downstairs and you took advantage of your time alone again.
As evening drew near, Chris got home and as soon as he walked in the silent house he froze. “Are the kids in trouble?”
“What? Why would you think that?”
“Did they get sent to their rooms? Are they at a friend’s house? Why is it so quiet?” You laughed.
“They are downstairs. Have been all day.”
“All day?”
“They said they wanted a movie day together and have been down there since breakfast.”
“That sounds very unlike them.” He sat beside you and put an arm over your shoulder. “And it’s been this quiet all day?” You nodded with a smile. “Sounds like you had a great day then.”
“It was very nice, but I kind of miss the chaos.”
“What are they watching? We can put a pizza in the oven and go watch with them.”
“I actually don’t know.” He helped you off the couch and you both headed downstairs quietly. When you opened the theater room you saw Finest Hours playing on the screen. They were so engrossed in the film they didn’t even notice the door open.
“What do we have here?” Their heads shot to look at their Father.
“Dad!” They got up and ran to him, hugging him.
“What have you two been doing all day?”
“Watching your movies,” Luke told him.
“My movies? Why?”
“We both want to be a movie star like you Daddy,” Lily told him. “And since you’re the best, we’ve been watching your movies and taking notes.”
Your heart fluttered at their words. “That is the nicest thing I’ve heard anyone say. Thank you, guys. How about next month you two come do some set visits with me when I start filming? Does that sound fun?”
“Yes!” They jumped. “Can we really?”
“Absolutely! It’ll be great. I’ll get to have my two favorite people on set.”
“Ouch,” you hissed. “That hurt.”
“Correction. I’ll get to have two of my favorite people on set.”
You nodded. “That’s better.”
This was sweet!!!

A/N: Hello, again!! I hope you all had a god holiday! Sorry for the late post, went out to do some post holiday shopping (wearing a mask and socially distancing) but also my laptop I use for all my writings crashed so, I had to break out an old one because my Mac book is only used for school. So it took me a while to get this one operational but all is well now. Hope you enjoy today’s update. Can you believe the month is almost over and I’ve kept up with this? Color me shocked! Let me know what you think!

Hope you enjoy today’s installment and a shorter update will be back tomorrow. Enjoy your day, everyone!!!

I’ve had this idea of doing more then just meme’s on here for a while. April was the first month I actually kept track of what I was doing as far as reading and buying books goes, which surprises me as April has not been a kind month to my family.
So below is the list of books that I have bought in this past month. The bolded titles are books I have finished reading, and the italics are books I am currently reading. I will also be posting a picture of all the books listed later ( if I can find my phone in order to actually take the picture XD ). If you have read any of these books listed let me know! Did you enjoy them?

I know you…
this is really random but i dreamt me and my friends were stranded on an island that hadn’t been discovered by humans yet and we were having a hard time moving through it - we all kept stumbling, slipping, tripping, falling. at some point we were all sitting on some rocks by the shore that were halfway in the sea and talking in attempts to figure out what to do next. as i randomly and half jokingly said “this island is trying to kill us”, the rock beneath me literally moved/changed its shape, somehow throwing me into the sea. that’s it. thanks for coming to my ted talk.
