Excuse the shakey hand and terrible quality but climbing onion is TAKING OVER. It’s kind of impossible at this point to get a good pic of him but here’s a view from a chair bc he’s just that long (and the top is still cut out of this pic):

And some close-ups of what the trail looks like at this point:

@o8o it’s at least a good 2.5 feet up in the air rn. Can guarantee the original trail wasn’t this long when I first got it. I think the other plants are egging it on.

The other day, the partner in crime and I wandered around Park Slope and stopped into Zuzu’s Petals.  It is a very cute flower and plant shop and I was pleasantly surprised to see so many Bowieavolubilisfor sale!

I saw these plants for the first time at the Philadelphia Flower Show back in March and loved them.  I purchased one for myself at the Connecticut Cactus & Succulent Show.  Since I like watching the plants develop over time, I bought a very small one, but if you have the room, the plants at Zuzu’s Petals are much larger and have a lot of character.

If you live in New York City and are as charmed as I am by these strange plants, stop by Zuzu’s Petals and pick one up!
