Couldn’t resist using my Forsaken palette on Tartar; it was fitting.

Tartar concept that I came up with the other day. He calls himself “Doc” to honor what memories he has left of his creator. Since his mind was scrambled by the killer wail impact, Doc’s been having trouble remembering certain things and now claims the world ‘has come down with a sickness’, believing sanitization is the medicine it needs. He also is known to carry around a giant syringe as well as other medical equipment.

Tartar is ready for Pride Month!

Just some fun with more ideas for my Octo Tartar. I like to think that being a former telephone he has the ability to link up to telecommunication devices by linking wires up to his head and listening in via his own receiver. Also worth noting the red light is on when Tartar is receiving transmissions.

Maybe eventually Tartar will even find a way to send signals back using just his voice! But for now the radio tower will serve as his new base of operations while he tries to find the whereabouts of his professor.

Another Tartar concept, but this time more on the organic side. Also probably considered a separate continuity from my other one.

While certainly more of an octo now, this Tartar is a bit of a genetic anomaly different from the Sanitized, showing vital signs and requiring quite the upkeep to stay healthy, much to his disappointment. Not being very fond of this change, it’s going to take some time for him to adapt.

Nicknames: Patient #80, or just ‘80′. Later goes by ‘Beta’ when an actual name is expected of him, as he prefers not to give out his real name.
Age: 12,000, but his new body is 6 months old.

After the events of Octo Expansion, Tartar’s mainframe was absorbed by the sludge that covered him and he reformed as this strange cephalopod. Shortly after his regeneration however, he was taken to a medical facility where an organization was studying the Sanitized that had been recovered from Kamabo Co. Being mistaken for one of the Sanitized, Tartar was put under the facility’s care for a few months till he was healthy enough to leave. His plans for reconstituting the world have since then taken a backseat to the pursuit of his Professor, who he believes is still out there, all while Tartar keeps a low profile to not draw any unwanted attention.

Some unusual physical features:
-Unable to assume octopus form (so far)
-Hexagonal-shaped pupils
-Octoling genetics are pretty dominant in his biological makeup, but some basic Octarian DNA present in the sludge he reformed from have influenced the appearance of his face.

Gave that Tartar gijinka ref sheet from yesterday a proper facelift, and I made it in my lineartless style. Hopefully the design’s details are more clear here. Tartar here may dress cool and all, but it doesn’t change the fact that he is still a creepy telephone anyways.

Drew my own gijinka of that crazy telephone and I just couldn’t resist going for an object-head animatronic monstrosity for the look of mine. Tartar here is trying his best to take on a more human-like form but he had to improvise a little bit due to lack of material, but hey he’s got a pretty radical uniform (where did he get that?).
