Al otro lado del poema hay un huerto,⠀
y en el huerto una casa con techo de paja⠀
y tres pinos,⠀
tres centinelas que nunca hablan, montando guardia.⠀
Al otro lado del poema hay un pájaro,⠀
amarillo y marrón con el pecho rojo,⠀
y regresa cada invierno⠀
y se posa como un pimpollo en el arbusto desnudo.⠀
Al otro lado del poema hay un sendero⠀
tan estrecho como una raya del pelo,⠀
y alguien perdido en el tiempo⠀
avanza descalzo por él, sin hacer ruido.⠀

Las aventuras de una flor de cerezo. Pero por ahora tengo ya mucho para ver: nueve tulipanes muriéndose de risa en un jarrón transparente. Miro su estremecimiento bajo las alas del tiempo que pasa. Tienen una manera radiante de estar indefensos y escribo esta frase a su dictado: "Lo que constituye un acontecimiento es lo que está vivo y lo que está vivo es lo que no se protege de su pérdida”.⠀
