“BOY MEETS GIRL® has always been at the forefront of impact fashion and using its label to support global issues. Founder and Creative Director, Stacy Igel, uses her platform to collaborate with activists and organizations across the social good sector, and Cool Effect aligns with BOY MEETS GIRL®’s desire to save the planet in an actionable and approachable way. BOY MEETS GIRL® has created a limited-edition t-shirt design inspired by Cool Effect’s mission to fight climate change and cut carbon emissions. With the phrase “THOU SHALT STAY COOL” featured on the front, Cool Effect and BOY MEETS GIRL® are making a bold statement to bring an important conversation forward and encourage action leading up to and following Earth Day on April 22. The collaboration has been captured by fashion photographer Sophie Elgort and shares the stories of four New York-based environmental activists who are passionate about taking action and making an impact on the planet for future generations. The stories will be featured on BOY MEETS GIRL®’s blog & social channels. The activists include Nicolette Templier, Miss Brooklyn Earth 2018; Reza Cristian, Founder of SUSTAIN Magazine; Alyssa Hardy, Senior Fashion Editor at COOLS; and Sarah Slutsky, Creative Director of Shiffon Co. and Stylist at The Wall Group.”
