This one very nearly killed me, it was deceptively difficult. Not to mention this absolutely beautiful fabric was a pain in the butt to work with. And then all the lace I hand dyed blue, only to decide I didn’t like the color then removed all the blue. Anyways it’s one for the books.

Here’s a picture of my costume from Saturday’s party. I was dressed as Pippet’s this was a really fun one to put together. Can’t wait for the next one!

.Top: Purchased from Bargain World in @yubacity a little tight compared to his but it worked.
.Shorts also purchased from Bargain World in @yubacity they are @levis 569 the smallest I could find was a 31 waist. I then cut them into shorts and took in the waist for a perfect fit.

Halloween vibes, what are you gonna make on 31th?
More details of our witch-tree costume! The base of the costume is a wool hoodie, on which we applied bark, branches and mushrooms, mostly casted in @smoothon FlexFoam14. We then painted the whole thing with a mix of dry brush, airbrush and pigments. For the natural elements we molded real bark and mushrooms that we collected in the woods near our home

The first time we looked at this design we were terrified by the quantity of tiny details spread all over, if you check the original art it’s impossible to get all of them at a first glance because they are so many!
It took weeks of work and a huge quantity of different materials to get this result. One after the other every little fang was carved, every leather piece laced and every cloth piece hand embroidered. At the end everything fit together perfectly and it was just a joy to look at

To achieve the right copper look we applied different layers of color, with three tones off plastidip and various acrylics, both splattered and airbrushed. The edges have been covered and laced with real leather. Very very happy with the outcome, but this showed us the limits of foam in terms of realness, one of the reasons why we started shifting to resin works in the next months

The full costume for your consideration! We really stepped out our comfort zone with this costume but we couldn’t help feeling a little heartbeat when we saw the whole thing put together. This is all EVA foam plus some 3d print pieces.
