Hedging Our Bets
The state championship was in a week, with the rival teams the Kings and the Rockets at each other throats. The pranking came fast and heavy as the days ticked closer. Someone toilet papered the mayor’s house. Someone dyed the city fountain in the Rocket’s colors. Likewise the betting was fast and furious and we wanted the biggest slice possible, so in the middle of the prank war we stepped up.
It didn’t take much inducement to talk a squad of loud drunken frat boys from opposing teams to prank kidnap the head cheerleader from the other team. Oddly enough the girls went along with it, until they saw each other bound and gagged . Reality set in about the time we got them into this abandoned house.

Why Weren’t They Gagged ?
From the Charlie’s angels episode Toni’s Boys, where the trio gets kidnapped by a mobster with a grudge who decides to wall them up alive in his wine cellar. They are tied up in chairs side by side (but only the wrists are shown), but left un-gagged to exchange inane barbs with the baddie.

“This is getting tiresome. I’d swear we’ve passed that hill twice already. Personally, I think our little tour guides are walking us in circles, hoping we’ll run across a forest ranger.”
“So what now?”
“The sun is nearly down. Secure them to those trees. It shouldn’t get much colder than 50 tonight. Maybe a night’s worth of near hypothermia will help the girls remember where that cabin is.”

Hot Fun in The Summertime
I shook the glass hard enough to make the ice rattle loudly. She turned her head and glared at me, “Damned hot day isn’t it, Jenny? Must be 89 degrees and the sun isn’t hardly out yet.” I walked closer to her and took a long sip of ice water from the glass, licking my lips with exaggerated relish. She fidgeted in the ropes
“Mmmm.. that hits the spot. I’d let you have some, but that would mean taking off that gag, and the only way that’s going to happen is if you tell me where that sister of yours hid those files.”
I waved the glass teasingly in front of her eyes. She looked at it intently, mouth working around her gag, then she looked away.
“Suit yourself. See you in an hour.”

The masked gunmen drew their weapons and arranged themselves at the first sound at the front door.
“Feel free to grunt and struggle as much as you please. A worm works best when it’s wriggling on a hook.” the leader said, taking careful aim.

The Uber Scam
Can you imagine ? People paying total strangers to give them rides? We had to get in on this. Paid some 14 year old computer genius to hack their network so we could skim clients in ritzy neighborhoods, and we took them for the ride of their lives ! After we relieved them of all that pesky jewelry, cash, the cellphones and emptied their checking accounts at a series of ATMS (never the same one twice, mind you) we dump them off in the worst part of another city all trussed up like piggies, and let things sort themselves out naturally.

Signs of Distress
Hiding in the dark foliage, Carrie and Sara watched the resort security quickly loading wooden crates on the back of a truck. A twig snapped behind them and they turned to face a loaded handgun.
“Snooping brats! The signs clearly said NO TRESPASSING–EMPLOYEES ONLY. Can’t you READ?!
