Two Robbery Victims, Bound Gagged for Over a Day
Three men dressed in all dark clothing broke into the home of two females. One of the victims told police she heard noises and went to investigate - that’s when she saw the suspects inside her home. One suspect struck the victim with an object, causing her to fall to the floor then took her personal items. Another suspect gained entry into the upper part of the residence and attacked the second victim, 83, demanding cash and jewelry. I had a little jewelry box. It didn’t have much in it but they took it. They took a watch that I had.“
One of the victims told Local 4, "I looked up and there were 2 in the room and they were demanding money and jewelry.”
Both of the women were tied up, placed back to back to back and bound with ropes as well as gagged with kitchen towels. The victims were trapped inside their home for more than a day before they were discovered by a neighbor who phoned police.
The suspects are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s.
