Personality
═════
Personality:
The first thing that one would notice about Hana is the sweet, calm side of her that she displays to the world. She’s painfully shy at times and spends a majority of her time with her eyes trained on the ground, unless she’s with her close friends. She’s also rather clingy with her friends, though not in the sense that she never leaves her friends alone, but more that she’s affectionate and loves little gestures such as holding their arms or putting her arms around them casually. She has no idea what personal boundaries unless the other person explicitly states that they’re uncomfortable with her affection and will try to adjust herself around them to fit what they are comfortable with. She also has a tendency to speak in long or descriptive metaphors or use what most would call “big words,” simply because she is the Ultimate Poet, of course she has these kinds of fancy words running through her head at all times. She has a bit of a mature, yet somewhat naive aura about her, which typically makes people feel at ease around her. However, there is the deep dark pit of despair that lies within her. The violent, unstable side that was much more prominent before she lost her memories as a remnant of despair. As a poet, she was used to wooing boys, girls, and nonbinary suitors alike weaving her words in ways that would make them weak at the knees. Because of this, she’s never known heartbreak, whenever her relationships would meet their conclusive end, she typically broke it off, it was never the other way around. Because of this…it would be rather difficult to imagine how she’d react if the object of her affections hadn’t reciprocated her feelings…how much despair that’d unlock from deep inside of the girl’s heart….

Habits:

-Hana typically keeps a little pocketbook on her at all times in case inspiration strikes at any time.
-When she’s concentrating, she has a tendency to chew on the pen that she also keeps on her.
-When Hana is worried or anxious, she will sometimes subconsciously scratch her pen against her skin, or if she doesn’t have her pen, she’ll use one of her nails

Phobias/Fears:
Asthenophobia- Fear of fainting or weakness.
Scotophobia- Fear of darkness
Trypanophobia- Fear of injections.
Nosemaphobia- Fear of becoming ill Pet Peeves:
People that are constantly late to plans that they’ve made well in advance
When her pens run out of ink

Relationships
═════
Possible Love Interests:
Kazuichi Soda: Truth be told, Hana herself wasn’t exactly sure what drew her to the pink-haired mechanic. Kinda awkward and clumsy, Kazuichi was far from what she would typically consider her “type” of romantic partner. Perhaps that was it. At the beginning, as a hopeless romantic, she sort of found it somewhat sweet, how he doted over Sonia. However, as time passed and it was abundantly clear she wasn’t interested, conflicting emotions filled her soul. Why couldn’t he see this? What was so special about Sonia that he bent over backwards to get her attention, and she wouldn’t even give him the time of day? At some point, she realized that she wanted the attention. The love and devotion she’d only read about, and written from second-hand experience. This confused her, as the two were rather good friends, that she hadn’t even considered romantically before she came to her revelation. She resolved to begin to send him love poems anonymously (though with her talent, it should be obvious) but the poor lovestruck idiot somehow concluded they must be from Sonia. Hana doesn’t like vying for her beloved’s attention from someone who couldn’t care less about him, but she resolves to get it…one way or another.

Gundham Tanaka: Hana and Gundham share a certain kinship. Both often speaking in ways that confuse others or that they simply don’t understand. More than once, she’d heard him muttering “that’s a good line” around her, and each time, it makes her heart flutter. For her to have someone around that did understand her, that actually appreciated the elaborate ways she weaves her words…it was new and refreshing. At first, he was certainly hesitant about her approaching and trying to befriend him, as with everyone. However, as time passed, with her being persistent enough to even write him poems depicting his crusades in taming his beasts. He eventually deemed her to have the same cursed tongue as he, resulting in their similar speech pattern. She was overjoyed in earning his friendship, though of course retaining the same aloof nature as he, to keep up his formidable and fear-striking presence in the others. She also, naturally, absolutely adores the Four Dark Devas of Destruction, fully admiring Gundham for how well he cares for them.

Ibuki Mioda: Hana more or less didn’t have a choice in the matter of Ibuki’s friendship. Not that she minds, she loves the bubbly musician’s company, feeling as though it’s excellent inspiration for her poems. In Ibuki’s eyes, writing poems is no different than writing songs, so they were so similar already!! Somehow, Ibuki always knows when Hana is locking herself up in her room, dealing with awful cases of writer’s block. During these episodes, Ibuki is the only one who can get her out of her room, often pulling her out for a super fun jam session. She’s also the only person who can convince Hana to pick up an instrument, though she typically picks the drums, as they don’t require…excessive knowledge in music theory to play somewhat well. Ibuki helps keep Hana’s moods lifted and she couldn’t be more grateful for that.

Sonia Nevermind: Somewhat of a case of enemies to lovers. Or…more of a one-sided rivals to lovers. Hana’s jealousy of Sonia was reaching its peak, to the point where even the sight of the blonde made her blood boil. One day, Hana was reading foreign poetry in the library, which quickly became one of her favorite spots in all of Jabberwock Island. By chance, while she was reading, Sonia had stopped by, likely looking to do some reading of her own. Having no clue of Hana’s true animosity towards the blonde, she struck up a pleasant conversation, taking note of the poetry she was reading. Hana was incredibly surprised to hear that she spoke the language, she even knew other works by the author! Her passion for poetry ignited, they spoke for hours in the library that day. By the time they parted ways for night time, Hana found herself feeling absolutely none of the hatred or prejudice she felt towards the princess earlier that very day. She re-evaluated this, and began to simply feel awful, even though she never actually voiced this disdain to Sonia herself. These feelings quickly moved from self-reflecting her own issues, to discovering that maybe…she’d been so angry and possessive because she felt such strong feelings for the princess, not the oblivious admirer.

Killing Game Information
═════
Status:
Dead

Murdered or Executed?:
Executed

Execution: Cupid’s Arrow

Hana makes an attempt to embrace the still stunned Kazuichi one last time, though before she can, she is pulled away from him and brought to a makeshift carnival game shooting range. A bunch of Monokumas dressed as Cupids begin shooting at her and eventually one makes its target, shooting her right in the heart. All the other Monokumas also hit various parts of her afterwards as well as the first one gleefully picks up the heart shaped stuffed prize that it had won.

If Executed. Who Was The Victim?:
Aya Chiyoko (Another OC)

How Did They Kill Them?:
Over breakfast, Hana offhandedly mentioned that they should ride the rollercoaster again to ease tensions, knowing that Sonia was one of the few that really enjoyed the roller coaster. She was so invested in making sure her plan was going correctly, she hadn’t noticed Aya complaining about how her hair-tie had snapped and couldn’t keep her hair up anymore. Later, she was hiding near the rollercoaster when she noticed someone with long blonde hair making their way up to the roller coaster. Thinking it was Sonia, she seized her chance and, using a pipe from the roller coaster control room, hit the blonde girl over the head. However, after she had fallen to the ground, a horrified Hana realized that she hadn’t killed Sonia, but rather, her good friend Aya.

Motive:
This was nothing more than the typical yandere story. Hana had grown increasingly jealous over all of the attention Kazuichi was constantly fawning over Sonia with, and eventually simply snapped. Finally having enough of the object of her affections only having eyes for someone else, Hana had planned to kill Sonia. Unfortunately, with Aya also having long blonde hair (though her hair is typically in a ponytail) she had grown much more furious at the sight of her that she murdered Aya without a second thought. However, after realizing her mistake, she panicked and decided to try to pin the murder on Sonia, so that even if Hana couldn’t kill her herself, she would still be framed for the murder and then die instead that way. It had completely slipped her mind that if everyone had decided that Sonia had murder Aya, Kazuichi would die along with the rest of her friends.

Quotes by OC:
“ The despair of loving someone that doesn’t love you back….I’ve never felt it before…and it’s absolutely intoxicating… “
“I was just SO SICK of hearing it all the goddamn time. ‘Miss Sonia! Miss Sonia!’ I couldn’t STAND IT!”
Chiaki: “But why would she do it if she liked Kazuichi….? It doesn’t make any sense. Cause either way…one of them would’ve died…”
Hana: “Yeah…that’s right! There’s no way I would’ve done it!”
Hajime: “In her jealous rage, it is possible that she simply forgot about that, and that’s why she tried to kill Sonia.”

Quotes about OC:
“Oh man! Kazuichi finally gets a girl who likes him and she ends up being a murderer! Poor guy can’t catch a break!” ~ Monokuma
“Hana wanted to murder Sonia for having Kazuichi’s attention, but unfortunately for Aya, who was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time and looked too much like Sonia for her to distinguish in the heat of the moment, she had to die instead. However, this lead to the next best thing: to try to frame Sonia for the murder.” ~ Hajime
“Unfortunately, as soon as she decided to kill Sonia, any hope of romance was quickly turned to despair! There was absolutely NO chance of a happy ending because if she was caught, she would die and if she wasn’t….Kazuichi, along with the others would have been punished!!” ~ Monokuma
