- matt getting drunk and it’s all fun and games until he starts to bump into things and walls and people and everything is too loud and too messy and he’s starting to lose it and can’t find his balance and can’t focus on anything and foggy has to get a matt-who-is-about-to-have-a-breakdown home
- some days all the sounds are just too much so matt has to wear headphones to block the noise our or he’ll go insane
- a really loud, sharp noise (in the middle of a fight? or just when he’s walking down the street?) almost knocks him to the ground, like a knife making its way through his brain
