Debbie Allen is a highly respected master of dance, choreography, acting and much more. She has won numerous Emmy awards for her outstanding performances and was appointed to the President’s Committee of Arts and Humanities in 2001. All the while owning a dance academy in Los Angeles, where Allen continues to mentally and physically train the future generations of performance artists. Evoking the youth to reach their fullest potential despite racial inequalities they may face, much like Allen was exceedingly able to do.
