Second of my recent small tabor drums, this one can be used normally, it has a pretty nice sound and is pretty helpful when doing things :D
Both made from herb-stained deer rawhide, tied with hand-twisted linen threads on a metal frame (recycled tins) covered in dyed and waxed heavy grain art paper. Construction is pretty solid, and waterproof.
Made a pair of them a while ago, this is the final part of the creation process: deer rawhide, waxed linen threads (twisted by me), body is made from recycled metal covered in dyed and waxed heavy grain paper (it was a small olives tin once). It will later get red sheepskin tuning straps.
It’s tiny but still able to sound, fits my ¼th scale doll.
