the distinction between “venomous” and “poisonous” exists mainly as enrichment for annoying people who like to hear themselves talk

If it’s beneath the Earth’s crust it’s poison, once it reaches the surface it just becomes sparkling venom.

I thought it was poisonous if it was from the cave ceiling but venomous if it grew from the bottom?

actually it’s poisonous while it’s burning up in the atmosphere but it’s venomous once it strikes the Earth’s surface

you’ve got it all wrong:

a venomous is a poisonous, but a poisonous isn’t a venomous.

My Inktober drawing from yesterday was a creepy kitty cooking up a poisonous bubbling brew! I wonder how long I’ll keep up with it this year.

First week of Inktober 2018!

I’m participating in Inktober for the first time this year! I’m proud of myself for getting past the idea that I’m just ‘bad at art’ and actually doing it! And I’m pleased with how my doodles turned out as well

And I have set out dot-con and live traps . Wanda doesnt kill the mice she just brings them to me so I feel safe about her living in my bedroom while I’m at work and supervised around the apartment when I’m home. Any advice would be helpful. Wanda found the best by my water heater. Shes a good cat. J live in a basement level apartment. Want to keep my kitty safe and get rid of the mice.

I hope you guys like it!

You will find that there are many common varieties of flowers (or any plant for that matter,) that are poisonous, toxic, or venomous. There are a few relatively safe ways to still use them (without touch or consumption) in your craft if you so wish.

There are plants that can cause organs to stop functioning, including your lungs, kidneys, and heart. This is why it is so important to research properly, and understand how to safely handle it if desired. Do not leave these within the reach of pets or children.

Do NOT ingest these flowers or consume them in any way. This includes burning them for smoke cleansing. In fact, please don’t put anything on or in your body without research, identification, and consulting a medical professional about it first.

Consumption Alternatives:

Contained Vessels:

After properly drying these plants, you can use these plants in sealed sachets and bottle spells, or leave them hanging in a safe place to have a consistent and fluid stream of their energies. Please handle with gloves.

Growing:

If you possess a pet or small child, this is probably not the suggestion for you. Many practitioners use dried foliage because it preserves better and is flammable if desired. However, having a growing and alive plant around also can attract the intentions you desire if done strategically and intent. Please handle with gloves.

Baneful Magic:

Applying the aforementioned methods I’ve laid out, you can almost always use poisonous plants in these forms to do Baneful Magic. Any positive attribute a flower can bring can also be used to revoke or withdraw it, alongside the already toxic energy. Please handle with gloves.

Young Link had a bad day in the poisonous waters of Deku Palace (?

“There are several species of Hellebore. The name comes from the Greek words ‘elein’ (to injure) and 'bora’ (food), indicating that Helleborus is poisonous. In some belief systems, it’s been believed to be a purgative, sometimes of bad things generally, used for things like protecting livestock from evil spells & (in powdered form) for invisibility. According to herb lore, the roots of the hellebore plant are are used to treat melancholy diseases & madness.

The original name for Hellebore was

"Melampodium.” According to the Greek historian Pliny, the plant was named for the soothsayer Melampus who used it to cure depression in ancient times. On a happier note & in spite of poisonous nature of the plant, it is often called the “Christmas Rose” or “Christ herbe” because it blooms in winter.
