why are they making larry the stepdad… colorblind casting exists like poc can play roles in white families on tv and movies this is the dumbest decision ever
Watched the Dear Even Hansen Trailer and I’m crying.
Look I don’t care if they’re basically too old to play highschool students, 70% of highschool movies look like that. Or that the trailer showed already 80% of the movie, let’s be real everybody already knows how the plot goes.
But the soundtrack and plot of Dear Even Hansen was always and still is so comforting for me and now seeing it as a movie is just beautiful. I never got the chance to watch the musical (I live in Germany lol) but I listened to the soundtrack so much and read the book, and watching the movie gets me closer again to the musical.
