Happy Birthday, Professor! J.R.R. Tolkien would have had to blow out many candles on his 127th birthday. Today we celebrate the man who brought us all together and many of our smials are rising their glasses in his honour tonight. Tolkien became one of the most influential authors of all time and his stories never stop to amaze children and grown-ups alike.

Christopher Tolkien (1924-2020) died on January 15th. We remember him in this obituary.
