the final issue of #Descender drops today. thank you to everyone for joining in, reading, following, and feeling this fantastical ride with @jefflemire, @swandsart, and myself. it has been an absolute change in my career, style, and view of how comics should be and can be made. thank you @imagecomics for providing us with the outlet to tell our story in the most proper way possible.
but, it’s not the end. #ASCENDER begins in 2019! the saga continues.

recap pic from last weekend’s #WildStormStudios 25th anniversary panel, that’s me and editor Ben Abernathy in the lower right, we both started Wildstorm in early 2000 together. Ben and I have been on Wildcats all the way up to Justice League Beyond with Batman Beyond, and now back for the more. we also both got married on the same exact day. not to each other.
He is also responsible for trusting me to paint my own covers and pages on a monthly book. That confidence in my work lead to me taking on painting all my Batman and Detective covers, the series Batman: Lil Gotham, and pretty much how I work today on #Descender. Confidence, trial, error, all rolled into one :)
