Nectarines and Mochi, Crunchy Toffee and Peppermint. As I post these Desserted Islands, I am preparing for a long trek back to Seattle, and I reflect on this past year.

2018 was truly complete and utter shit. Funnily enough, I only see exactly how shit it was at the end of it, which tells me that my current support network is beyond amazing. Without them, I am quite sure I would not have seen 2019.

The depth of appreciation I have for you is great, and I love ya’ll so much. Looking forward doesn’t feel so daunting when I can look back and see y'all there.
