Tim Shaw from National Geographic Channel’s None Of The Above prefers to use the stuff in cool science experiments, and he stopped by the Swift Hibernian Lounge in the Lower East Side to show us some of his favorites that you can try your yourself at home, including the “whiskey bong” above.
Oct 27, went to Yamazaki distillery to taste some of their good whiskey. I prefer Yamazaki which is more sweeter and milder than Hakushu which is more sourer and sharper. They have a small water fall in their garden, looking at it, you’d be surprised how the water is clear and clean.
Spent a lovely few days with family and my sweetie friend Stacey. Got to go to the driving range to hit some golf balls and cook some yummy food together. I made a hearty chicken broth, being cold and wet in London. It seemed to be the ideal home cooked soup. I also made a yummy lamb roast on the weekend for my family. And of course my famous meatball soup with dill/parmeasan.
