¡Hullo, again! *✲゚*。✧٩(・ิᴗ・ิ๑)۶*✲゚*。✧

Wow, it’s so strange to post more than 3 things in less than a year ^ ^)”

Anyway! This is a short idea I’m currently working & researching on, hopefully to post at least a one-shot :9

Hope you like it!  ♡

Toshinori was a highly respected detective, but got severely wounded while taking down a mafia boss: his greatest achievement also meant his retirement, due to health issues. Because of his utter dedication, Toshinori hadn’t preoccupied himself with making meaningful friendships -as dear ones could be at risk-, he hadn’t thought of his after-retirement; meaning no hobbies, no interest, nothing beyond his now-former job.

Months pass and it’s only when he goes home that reality strikes him: he had dedicated his whole life to be a detective; one that would be a pillar for people to feel safe and smile.

And that was no more.

‘I guess it’s time for new things, huh?’

Months after his recovery, he meets Aizawa on a library he frequents.

He accidentally reads what Aizawa was writing and is immediately impressed by the script. However, Aizawa -who had left a minute to look for a book- is not happy to see him peeking at his stuff. Toshinori tells him how marvelous he thinks it is and Aizawa says ‘well, that’s a first’, which confuses Toshinori. Turns out that no publisher wants him due to his looks and ‘unwillingness’ towards the media.

Somehow, Aizawa ends up hearing Toshinori’s story (against his will) and comes with the following idea:

‘Would you be the author?’

‘H-Huh? I’m afraid I do not follow, young man.’

‘Young man…? I mean, could you be my “ghost author”?’

‘Me?!? Why?? This is yourwork, I could never-’

‘I don’t care about fame and all that, just wanna write. But I have to eat, too.’

‘So… you want me, a stranger you’ve just met, to be your “ghost author”?’

‘It’s not like I don’t know who you are, detective.’

They decide to live together so as not to raise any suspicions and, a month after they start living together, Toshinori goes to Yamada -Aizawa’s friend and editor- as the ‘author’ of the novel.
