After over 3 months of sculpting, firing, gluing, and painting it’s finally here!

This is the cannon statue of Error’s parasite. The idea here is that since Error’s and Ink’s parasites could technically be viewed as Gods, some AU’s still in their early village eras worship them. Now of course as was shown in the lore comic, legends are never right. As to why this statue is wrong, the horns face forward when they should be backward. It is shown to have an armored spine and scales when really the creature was only made up of a black substance. There is a visible spine and small crest on the snout when those are not present, and it is also missing the quells. Most noticeable is that it is shown as a Lindwyrm instead of an Ouroboros.

These ‘worshiping’ AUs will be important to the story, as Ink actually chose one in the medical era around a village. His frequent sightings and the fact that the AU is monsterless have led to some outlandish tales ;3.

Now for the piece itself. Oh fucking boy, I almost died. So as I said, this was all made out of Earthenware clay. So after about a month of sculpting, I put it in the kiln to be fired, and guess what? It exploded. the base and the head remained intact, I mean the snout came off but gorilla glue exists for a reason so it was an easy fix. But as I’m sure you can tell, the tail was just in pieces. Nonetheless, if it’s one thing we artists are known for, it’s our blind perseverance. So I looked at my ceramics teacher and said, “do you happen to have any superglue?”

Things happen people, sometimes, your projects explode. But as artists, do we sit down and cry over the pieces? Do we throw those pieces away? DO WE GIVE UP?! NO! WE PICK UP THOSE PIECES AND PUT 'EM BACK TOGETHER!!

Besides, I got to make it an ancient statue. And now the cracks just make it cooler <3.

Two-Face!AU Lore | Ink and Error’s Parasite Origins

They started as Ouroboroses, but when they were forced to latch onto Ink and Error, there were two options.

Ink’s soul’s, since it was broken, self-preservation won out over the parasite’s. His soul absorbed the creature, and that’s why it has no foothold over his mind.
When Error glitched out of his universe/reality, his soul was still intact. So the parasite, being more desperate absorbed Error’s soul and therefore has a spot in Error’s mind.

The main idea here is that the Ouroboroses don’t stand for anything. Not life & death, creation & destruction. There are just beings that got named that because of how they looked. And the fact that said titles would spell their doom. Now Ink and Error are stuck in this cycle.

Also, look it’s Error’s official design! Yay!
