We safely finished today’s performances of Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~ Adventure on August 1 ~」.

Thank you very much to everyone who came to see it despite the holiday, and everyone always supporting us !

I could feel the tension of everyone, including myself, emanated from up on the stage and it was a really different performance today.

Ah ~ …
2 days left, 4 performances, and then it’s over…

I want to exist in that happy environment forever, but I can’t do that.

There is an ending so I especially want to put all my strength into delivering my performance, day after day.

I want to devote myself completely to these remaining performances so that I can feel like I made wonderful memories with everyone in summer 2017, and so that it can be that way for everyone else too !

Good evening.

One day since the end of Digi-sute, this summer has been reall fun and I got to make a lot of memories with everyone so when I woke up this morning I felt the most lonely ~ .

This is the thing called loss. lol

It looks like Omegamon, Metalgreymon, Metalgarurumon, Agumon, and Gabumon will be at Bellesalle Roppongi from 8/15 to 8/17, so please go see them ^ ^

Gabumon is busy too ~

Now then, today, I went to En-sute practice and put my all into it !

I think I want to work extra hard to catch up since I’ve been behind and out of practice until now.

Today we mainly did dance choreography and acting.

Oh man, the Knights dance compositions are too cool.
I want my body to learn the movements quickly so I can dance smoothly !

We made a ton of progress in today’s acting practice too.

A lot of things doing
I don’t have much time, so I’ll be sure to present my plan and hope to move forward in practice smoothly ^ ^ *

Today’s performance of Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~ Adventure on August 1 ~」has finished !

Thank you very much to everyone who came to see it !

Today there was one evening performance, and there was a fresh and different response from the audience this time too, I was really glad to feel that atmosphere.

The number of people interested in Digimon that come to the theater increases day after day, and each time I see that view at the curtain call, my heart soars.

Today, we reached the midway point of the performances.

I want to focus my feelings and do my best until the end so please lend me your support until the very very end ! !

There’s a fresh feeling to the communication up on the stage every day too, and the acting is really fun.

And then today, Makki and Yuuta came !

I heard that it was fun from a lot of people closely involved too, and I feel even more energetic about the next performances.

Tomorrow is a rest day from performing, but I will do my best the day after tomorrow too !

Thank you very much to everyone who came to see Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~ Adventure on August 1 ~」!

The weather changed a lot from yesterday’s typhoon, and we had a good performance this time too.

Looking at the curtain call at the end, I saw all kinds of people, even children and visitors from other countries, and I was really glad they all came to see the play.
Once again, Digimon is loved, and this is a production that’s caught the attention of many different people.

My feelings grew even stronger !

And today, my family came to see it.

It was a rare occasion where my father could come, too.

I heard about all the feelings they had on it after the performance, and the main topic became the Digimon and how they were handled or moved.

I felt really emotionally moved.

Without a doubt, everyone operating and moving the Digimon this time worked and practiced harder than ever.

When I heard from my family that they felt the same way about it that I did, I felt happy.

It’s really good acting.
I hope that notice of the Digimon and their operators will be taken by those that come see the play too.

And and 8/8 is the birthday of both my mother and older sister.

I went out to eat with my family after the performance.

Coming to see the production like this and being able to get together at this age*, I felt in my heard that they’re a really lovely family.

Happy birthday, mother and sister ! ! !

Everyone, did you do alright through the typhoon ?

The heat and good weather continued from yesterday in the Kanto area but in an instant, it got dark and rainy.

The summer feel of typhoons is really strong
While it does really feel like summer
I’m also praying it does as little damage as possible.

Today was a rest day from Digi-sute.

No one accidentally went to the theater, did they ! ?
Are you alright ! ? lol

I wonder if the Digimon got some good rest in…

And finally, I started , I went off to the intro meeting for En-sute ! !

It’s finally starting huh, En-sute.

A lot of people love it and I got to see performances from the previous 2 runs, so I was surprised again that I was in today’s intro meeting.
With the youth, strength, and brilliance of the cast members this time, I think we’ll make a wonderful production this time too ! !

The 2nd day of performances for Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~ Adventure on August 1~」has come to an end.

Everyone who came to the theater in this head, everyone supporting me through blog comments and letters, thank you so much !

Today the chosen children and their partner Digimon went off on an adventure again.

The curtains opened yesterday, and I heard a lot of people say that they had fun, and my eyes felt like they’d tear up just from hearing those words.

And today, the guests filling every seat in the theater…

For stage play people, there is no greater happiness ! !

Jou’s actor Junya and I excitedly enjoyed it together when we were behind the stage ! lol

Even at the meeting, looking back at the performance after it was over
I’m glad I got to see smiling faces from a lot of people, like those that are always supporting me and the people who were carrying Digimon plushes, and those that really enjoyed the production ^ ^

This time there were a lot of male audience members too, important guests in this 2.5d play.

Tomorrow is a rest day from performances.
It’s a maintenance day for us and the Digimon, so we will not be at the theater ! !

So that we don’t make any mistakes ! ! ! lol

On the opening day of Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~Adventure on August 1~」we safely finished 2 performances.

Everyone who came to the play and everyone supporting us from far away, thank you very much !

Finally

Finally, we were able to show this to everyone.
I will say first…

Even now, coming home after the performance, the excitement has not cooled off. lol

I was so nervous before the performance that I thought my heart would burst from my chest, but more than that, I had a lot of fun !  

I was really glad about all the letters I received today, being supported by people like this, and about all the people who came to see the play. A lot of people who like the original Digimon works also came too.

It’s a production that I really, really want a lot of people to come see.

There are definitely scenes that will make people who’ve seen the anime get goosebumps like “buaaaaaah”, it’s a production that people who don’t know the source material can enjoy too.

The opening day has come and once again, I felt that I could say it was a production I went into with confidence ! ! ! *

We’ll be doing it again tomorrow so I want to brace myself and those feelings, I think, but writing this blog now, I only want to bask in the feelings and memories of today’s performance. lol

That’s how suuuuper fun it was ^ ^

I look forward to tomorrow’s performances too (^^)

Today, we finished the genepro for Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~Adventure on August 1~」.

Thank you so much to all the people who were allowed to come to the genepro, and to the media people !

I was so nervous my heart was racing.

When the curtains actually opened, I realized how nervous I was.
And standing on the stage, everyone’s nervousness was passed along.

It’s a feeling you can’t sense in practice.

But that’s fun, or rather…
It’s something unique to stage plays ^ ^

It seems like I’ll be even more nervous at tomorrow’s opening day ~ …

I want to immerse myself entirely in that nervousness and fun of acting !

Feeling relieved after the genepro was over,
I was getting ready to go home and when I was on my way back, I noticed something about my feet felt different somehow.

Ah…

I was wearing the dressing room slippers home lol
I’m glad I noticed on the way…

For now, I’d like to relax and rest the body and heart that have been working so hard !

And tomorrow I want to have a good opening day
I want to deliver a performance in the evening to the people who come out
I want to see that evening view at the Blue Theater.

We completed rehearsals for Super Evolution Stage Digimon today too.

I watched as many of the scenes I wasn’t in as possible from the seating area, and I’m already so excited.

As I’d thought, it really is incredible to actually be in the theater and see the lighting and sound put together.

I ended up feeling like I wanted to watch the whole thing as an audience member lol

Since we’ll be doing the remaining rehearsals tomorrow, there’s a geneproin the evening.

The first run-through before we show it to everyone.

Yes, I’m nervous…

But the genepro is a step towards the opening day so
If there’s a major failure, I want it to be now.

But I do want to deliver a good genepro.

It’s a contradiction isn’t it, lol

Anyway!
I want to do what I can now, and take on tomorrow with all of my strength !

And, I look forward to seeing everyone ^ ^

Today we moved into the small theater at Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi, and then did a rehearsal !  

I first stood in the Blue Theater just 2 years ago, at the time of Hakumyu Toudou Heisuke hen.

It’s a place of memories, since it was the first time I went into a big theater like this.

Last year, in SHOW BY ROCK!! Musical.

And this year, in Digimon.

The Blue Theater has become a helpful place where I stand onstage about once a year.

And this year in October, that Blue Theater is closing down…

I’m really sad.

It’s a shame to see the theater go this way, but I’m really glad that I get to stand in it again in the end.

I’m going to do my best to fill my role with the feelings of gratitude I have for this theater, I want to put my heart and soul into this production.

I’m going to etch into my heart the time I spend standing onstage at the Blue Theater, and do my best in tomorrow’s rehearsal too.

Starting today, it is August.
Summer, it’s really summer ! ! !

I thought, but August started with rain…

Today, 8/1, is the day when the chosen children had a camp day, in the Digimon anime.
And, the play was given the title of「Adventure on August 1st」this time.

Continuing the story of that camp day once more…

Before moving into the small theater today, I went to see the stage !

Here, I thought about how the adventure will begin from now on, and I couldn’t stop feeling excited.

Starting with tomorrow’s rehearsal, I’m going to go do my very best ! !

Today, all practice ended for Super Evolution Stage「Digimon Adventure tri. ~ Adventure on August 1st ~」.

It’s already time to meet with the next group of company at the Blue Theater, huh…

The bonds built between the group members over the one-month practice period are incredible.

We were all super close, through the end of practice… ~ …

Of course I want it to be like that until the very very end, but I also think that the goodness of those relationships will show up on the stage, as those same chosen children and Digimon too. *

The time spent going out to eat with everyone, and talking in the training room until today, in my heart, I feel that none of it was pointless.

Or rather, in the last practice and rehearsal I thought that it would extend on from the time we entered the theater to the opening day.

I’m really excited for the curtains to open.

But surely
I think it will be an enjoyable play for those who love Digimon, those who love theater, and especially those who are seeing Digimon for the first time.

I want to hurry up and go on an adventure with everyone (^^)

Today there was a closing-of-practice party with everyone.

After this, going off on an adventure with my companions, I hope to have a good time ^ ^  

Ah, now I want to go look at my Digimon…

I’ll have to look at it when I get home !

Today, instead of the rehearsal*, I was focused intently on polishing up the scenes.

Day by day, it seems like the Digimon are also getting more soul
There are a lot of things I get from my partner Digimon.

It wasn’t just the Digimon; it was the kind of practice where we could evolve our roles and ourselves as actors too.

It’s really thanks to the director Tani-san.

I’ve come to love theater even more ^ ^

But it’s still a little early to be looking back on things… lol

Anyway, I want to make tomorrow’s final rehearsal good
so that we can enter the small theater with a good feeling.

I really hope the weather tomorrow is clear ! ! !

Good evening.

We did rehearsals for stage play Digimon today too.
We also had on hair, makeup, and costumes this time.

It was my first time as Yamato since the photoshoots.

As I thought, it does feel completely different.
Somehow Gabumon also seemed happy… lol

Each performance time, there are a lot of new things born.
And, it’s the same with rehearsals in costumes, hair, and makeup.

I won’t forget the new emotions and movements that were born today, and I want to spend these last 2 days of practice brushing up on them even more !

Ah~
Just as I thought, hearing that sound from the Digimon generation I’m from, it raises my spirits. *

There are scenes that will be especially exciting for Digimon fans so please look forward to that ^ ^

The company gets along well this time, but especially the 3 of us, together during breaks.  
Both of us are Digimon fans so we end up only talking about that until the break is over… lol

Having been selected as one of the「chosen children」for the play this time, I feel a sense of responsibility and I want to do my best with that until the very end.

I’ve been spending every day thinking about nothing but Digimon so just today I realized, there are 3 days of practice left. lol

It’s so fast ~ …

I might have said it before, but if this pace keeps up, the year will be over before we know it ! ! ! ! ! !

The momentum really makes it feel that way. lol

Spending time in the digital world (aka, the training room), and spending time together with my companions and partner Digimon, I want to go on a great adventure together tomorrow too.

There’s still a lot to try out in these remaining 3 days.

Because the challenges in practice are infinite.
