Long-distance runner Caroline Rotich was born in 1984 in Nyahururu, Kenya. Rotich is a two-time winner of the New York City Half Marathon, and she has also won the Las Vegas Marathon,the Prague Marathon, and the Boston Marathon. In 2019, four years after her Boston Marathon victory, she won the Austin Half Marathon.
