Sunday. Brooks Brothers blue blazer, white OCBD, and repp tie. With Haggar slacks, Cole Haan loafers, my dad’s belt buckle on a generic leather strap, and a vintage Hamilton High Beat. Behind me is a print of Yale, a gift from my recently deceased uncle, who was a proud Yalie. I hope you’ve all had a good day, and have a great week!

Church yesterday (2nd Saturday of the Souls), followed by our annual Apokriatiko Glendi (a Greek pre-Lenten party), and Church again this morning (Forgiveness Sunday), before Great Lent, which starts tomorrow in the Orthodox tradition). At least I had time to sneak in a cigar break!

There was a brief period around 2010-2014ish that a handful of men, Tinseth tops among them, authored blogs that were simply exhilarating. Dusty, Toad, Reggie Darling,Yankee Whiskey Papa’s Boxing the Compass, Man of the Fifties. Where are you men? Break out your Olivetti’s, your voices are needed more than ever.
