Hello folks,

Some of you may recognize me from a different blog, one that goes by the name of When I’m Older. Although my owner likes to think that her blog is the best, I thought it was time to prove her wrong. Who even cares about clothes and makeup? The world needs a blog that is centred around something a little bit more important. Something a little bit cuter. Something a lot more interesting. And that is where my job begins. Today marks the day where I start my blogging days. This blog will follow my footsteps, whether that leads to a walk in the park or down the path to world domination. I will showcase my ups and downs, my journey from puppyhood into a full, mature adult. But first, before we start to follow my life stages and watch me grow older, I think you should learn a bit more about me.

My name is Oakley and you might mistake me as a polar bear at first. You also may be surprised to learn that I’m only two years old. Don’t let my size fool you however, I act exactly like how you would expect a 2 year old toddler to act. I am the cross between a poodle and a golden retriever, I’m a goldendoodle! I guess you could say that I am the best of both worlds. I have the intelligence of a poodle with the cunning good looks of a golden retriever, all wrapped up into one adorable, non-shedding, but extremely fluffy body. 

If you want to learn more about my personality, you’re going to have to follow this blog. You’ll soon learn that I’m an extremely sassy puppy with a gigantic loveable heart. You’ll also learn that I can get into trouble sometimes but at the end of the day, I just want to curl up in your lap and be loved.
