Just going through my feed and I realized something…if we got so excited about a single photo,I’m scared what would happen if the scene where Lupin asks Harry to be the Godfather gets published.
I mean, in the script it says Lupin staring at Tonks affectionately and my god does it look like it

Okay but imagining Remus having a mental celebration party with himself everytime he gets to do anything with Tonks brings me great joy. Honestly this man was head over heels for Tonks and I love him for that
It’s so sweet, that’s why I don’t get the argument about Remus not loving Tonks because every action he does is because he loves her. He rejects her feelings because he thinks she deserves better and he worries about making her an outcast by associating with him and putting her in danger whilst a werewolf.
He leaves her when she’s pregnant with Teddy because of those insecurities surrounding his lycanthropy, he worries his child will be like him an outcast and even if the child didn’t inherit his condition, they would be ashamed of a father like him. It’s never about oh I should never have married her because I didn’t love her.
Besides when Teddy is born, he’s so happy and proud. I mean he used all sorts of protective charms to keep Tonks and Teddy safe, he wouldn’t do that if he didn’t love her. I’m very much a believer that if Remus and Tonks did reunite with one another before their deaths, what happened in the deleted scene would be canon. That’s where the writers got their relationship right, even if they did delete it…
