OH MY VENUS

EPISODE 12

This episode of the drama had a lot of mix of sweet and heartbreaking scenes, not to mention the very last one.

The episode open up in the scene where we left where Young Ho was able to attend the company’s anniversary due to Joo Eun. At the end of the event, due to a lot of paparazzi are waiting for Young Ho to ask if he was really indeed John Kim, Joo Eun was left at the venue with a sprained leg whom she got when she was one of the people trying to protect Young Ho in sending him off. But to our surprise, Young Ho was back in the venue giving Joo Eun some very sweet words of encouragement and ofcourse, to heal her sprained leg.

After that, a mix of more sweet parts happened. My favorite parts was when Young Ho just suddenly went to Joo Eun’s office where he intends to officially check her improvements. She was again bought to the clinic where her measurements are measured. It;s Christmas! So, they celebrated Christmas with everyone; that is, Joon Sung, Ji Woong, Hyun Woo, Joo Eun and Young Ho. It was a very funny scene.

Towards the end of the drama, the son of Young Ho’s step mother was in an accident. The brother of this step mother was pissed off at Young Ho because he thinks that his sister and nephew are being use by Young Ho’s father to give more inheritance to Young Ho. He then had some adrenaline to do something to Young Ho as a revenge.

On the other side of the story, Joon Sung got a message from his mother that she would want to meet him. He told Young Ho and Joo Eun about it and Young Ho lend his car to him. Following the accident that happen to Young Ho’s supposedly step brother, his supposedly uncle are out to avenge his sister and nephew and Young Ho was able to learn such. Knowing that Joon Sung was out on the streets using his car, he had the thought that Joon Sung might have the consequences instead of him but he was able to stop it by having the accident.

In the ending scene, Joon Sung found Young Ho covered in blood and unconscious because of the accident.

Now, I would have to say that, that was a very short scene to cry for Young Ho but I swear I had tears in my eyes when that happened. I don’t know, maybe because, this scene was full happiness that to see that scene is just hurting and unbearable. That stupid supposedly “uncle” was unreasonable in his intent to harm Young Ho. Man, I’m pissed. I am excited to see more next episode because of the cliffhanger. I mean, what will happen? Anyway, let’s find out the next episode.

EPISODE 11

I would have to say that this episode has a lot more story to offer than the previous one. First, we were able to see how Joon Sung and Young Ho met. Joon Sung used to be a worthless troublemaker which Young Ho met on the street. He was given clothes, shelter, and even career, that’s why, we understand where his loyalty for Young Ho is rooting from.

There are also a lot of moments between Young Ho and Joo Eun. My favorite scene though was the one when they wanted to turn the ordinary into something erotic. They were both determined to do so but failed because of Chief Min asking for Young Ho.

The episode ended with Joo Eun finding Young Ho at a corner of a dark room trying to fight his psychological pain disorder. Joo Eun was able to encourage Young Ho though to stand up and fight over it and attend the anniversary meant originally for him.

The best part for me of this episode is how it showcase the closeness and love that Joo Eun and Young Ho have eventhough they were in the middle of an issue. Joo Eun’s character is so bright that her character were able to overcome the sadder side of Young Ho and this couple really blend with each other and I really love it.

REMEMBER - WAR OF THE SON

EPISODE 6

This episode opened up by showing Jin Woo’s condition as a lawyer and In Ah as prosecutor. In Ah has been a very diligent prosecutor while Jin Woo became an excellent lawyer who would prove his client’s side by all means he has to do.

In Ah and Jin Woo was then entangled in a case where a girl filed a lawsuit against the Vice President of Il Ho Life. However, the girl was ordered by Nam Gyu Man, the current president of Il Ho Life and was currently jealous of the achievements of the Vice President.

Jin Woo decided to defend the Vice President to ruin Nam Gyu Man’s plan of detaining him at jail. In Ah however, didn’t know that the girl she was defending was telling lies. In the end, due to Jin Woo’s diligence to ask her to tell the truth, she was able to do so when she saw her father and thought that detaining someone innocent was like taking away a father of a daughter that is like her.

The very best thing that I have noticed in this episode is the showcase of power that Jin Woo and In Ah have as professionals. That eventhough there were hindrances in revealing the truth, they would still try their very best to prove the innocent.

The very best part of the episode was when Jin Woo provoked Nam Gyu Man. For me, I have been diligently waiting for the one who would stand up for this evil character and Jin Woo is doing a great first step.

LIAR GAME REBORNSo, I might be 3 years late for watching this movie but actually, when I found that LIAR GAME REBORNSo, I might be 3 years late for watching this movie but actually, when I found that LIAR GAME REBORNSo, I might be 3 years late for watching this movie but actually, when I found that LIAR GAME REBORNSo, I might be 3 years late for watching this movie but actually, when I found that

LIAR GAME REBORN

So, I might be 3 years late for watching this movie but actually, when I found that Erika Toda was not in this movie, I was even hesitant to watch it. But then again, Matsuda Shota is still playing Akiyama and Mikako Tabe is someone I know of as an actress so I became curious to find out as to what kind of story will they offer.

For the reborn story of Liar game, Shinomiya Yu (Mikako Tabe) received a liar game invitation just after her graduation. Unsure and Afraid as to what this game would offer, she seek the help of her professor which was revealed to be Akiyama Shinichi. I love how they showed that after two years since Liar Game Final Stage, Akiyama is now a professor teaching psychology. I love the connection that Shinomiya and Akiyama though it was not a close and direct relationship.

There were familiar faces in the movie aside of Akiyama like Fukunaga, the police officer with the golden tooth and Mai from Liar Game Final Stage. I would just have to say that it seems like the name Kanzaki Nao was specified to not be mentioned in the movie. I mean, with Fukunaga, the police officer and Mai in the scene, how can Nao’s name not be mention at all? I’m confused and hurt both at the same time. Like, where is she? I thought it would be better if they at least mention her as if she is somewhere that the liar game can’t reach or that Akiyama was able to sent her somewhere far and that she is safe. Like, a closure would be good for her character.

Talking about Tabe’s character Shinomiya, I would have to say that I am both impressed and pissed off on her character, well, just with her character. I am impressed in such a way that I thought, she would be just another Nao kind of character but she was not. She has her own thinking, had her will to not trust Akiyama right away and her own stand on playing the game. Which brings me to me being pissed off at her. I was pissed off at her stupidness in this movie because unlike Nao, Nao is stupid but trust Akiyama while Shinomiya is stupid like plain stupid. She even betrayed Akiyama by her own thinking that Akiyama would betray her. But I think, that made her character, her. And though it was an annoying scene, still, I would say that it made sense for the story.

The last thing that I noticed is that the other players aside Akiyama and Shinomiya were so easy to recruit in their group and to ask for their trust. Like for example, Mai who I know should be able to trust Akiyama because she already know him but I observed that in previous liar game series, Nao had a hard time to recruit people to trust. Remember how many time Fukunaga betrayed her and Akiyama? I mean, those kind of situations. It left me wondered then that if Nao would have been the one in the game, I’m very much sure that it was an easier game to have.

How would I rate this movie? Well, I’d say that it was still a pretty good movie. Though, still, I would want Kanzaki Nao than Shinomiya Yu. We still have the ever cool Akiyama anyway so still a plus to watch the movie.

PRISON SCHOOL

EPISODE 1

Prison School is a story about five boys who have entered Hachimitsu Academy, a school that used to be exclusive to girls. Because it just became co-ed, the number of boys who have enrolled in the university are only five and Kiyoshi is one of them.

Fast forward, this story features a lot of boobies, panties and asses. Which surprised me as I am considered to one of those who have not read the manga. It surprised me because this drama was so open-minded as I would claim to showing boobs and showing how erotic the minds of the men are. Their desire to peek into the ladies in the bath are huge.

But then, some underground student council are present in the university. While attempting to peek into the girls, they were caught by the student council members hence, was detained into the prison that is at school; prison school. The boys were ordered by the student council members and are disciplined for one month. Which is by the way, claimed to be in the rules of the school. And so, the life of the boys at the prison school begins.

I still find this drama weird. Not because of the boobies, the asses or the erotic minds that the men have but, just by the way that the men are regulated in here. They have to be beaten by the girls are deprived of their rights. It still weird me out how men was so inferior in this drama. But then, apart from that, all other scenes are funny.
