Some characters from an extremely surreal dream I had the other night that I can’t stop thinking about

This dream was complicatedas hell. I think the only way to accurately summarize it is in the frenzied message I sent my friends the following morning (slightly redacted for reclaimed slurs):

But I do have a few other notes:

-The central figure in green is actually what I looked like in the dream. This is actually a character from a collaborative project I did with my friends a year ago; I’ve no idea why I took this form in the dreamspace.

-The girl in pink was a teacher’s pet type who I was in something of a rivalry with. Chalk it up to something like wish fulfillment, I s’pose. :P

-The overall color palette of the dream was actually brighterthan this, almost crayon-y. I had to make it more subtle in order to better convey that atmosphere of dread.

Ever since I moved back to my college dorm back in august, I have barely had a whole night’s sleep without seeing a window in my dreams. More often than not, the window is broken by a person or an animal that tries to climb through it. Sometimes I try to peek through a window that is covered and sometimes I see someone else through a window. I don’t know for sure what these dreams are tying to tell me, but I have a slight idea. I thought that maybe I would solve this by drawing my dreams, but I still keep having them. One funny thing that should be a coincidence, but also could be related to this is that the same day as these dreams started, I had my first meeting with one of my closest friends when he climbed through my window to help because I forgot my keys.
