DND Tarot : Ruthie Proudfoot / The Hanged Man

Been working on a tarot deck based off of campaigns I’ve been a part of. I’m only about a third of the way through the major arcana, but I thought it would be fun to start sharing them
I’ve been kind of obsessed with Hades recently and I couldn’t help but notice that Artemis shares a lot of similarities with my dnd character (down to the moon symbol on their chests). I love the artwork in the game, so I thought it might be fun to take a crack at drawing Morwen as Artemis :3

Morwen hasn’t learned her lesson about going 1v1 with heavily armored men, but when a paladin hits your morally complex kind of girlfriend what else are you supposed to do?

I was doing some witch-y research for Morwen and stumbled across the late 19th century painting, Magic Circle by John William Waterhouse, and it clicked just right. Anyway, y’all know I had to do my own interpretation of it XD

My friend introduced me to the app, reroll, where you can make li’l 8 bit portraits of your dnd characters (it’s super fun, would highly recommend). Anyway, I made this baby based off of that. Plus, it was a fun opportunity to play around with a different art style XD

IntroducingDr. Pasha Dutoit of the Pravda Hľadač Institute, Professor of Archaeology, Arcane Engineering, and Cartography and his faithful Steel Defender, Fluffy.
I did a guest spot for a friend’s campaign where I played this beefy li’l tortle battle smith artificer. He was my first time playing an artificer and it was so fun! Would definitely play him again someday :)
