Hey, Morwen’s actually in a relatively good place at the moment! I guess that’s what defeating a god of entropy and waking up the land will do to you

Part 7 of SU inspired dnd portraits! (NPC edition)

Cackling Anna is the local woods witch and morally complex love interest of my pc. Currently she’s run off with the Sisterhood of Night (think super powerful witch coven deadset on resurrecting a dark god of entropy in order to save the environment and bring down the patriarchal religious complex).

Had to draw a cool moment from last session where Morwen cast daylight using the magical skull of the man she hates most in the world

Sometimes I think about what would happen if my D&D characters met eachother… In Relonor and Halvar’s case, probably nothing good

This idea was too fun for me not to take a crack at it.

I’m imagining they’re accidentally meeting up on some demiplane. Gracie immediately goes for the *wink wink nudge nudge* approach and Morwen “no social skills” Hebesgryn has no idea how to cope

Part 5 of su inspired dnd portraits! This is Anotol, our resident bard and academic. Even though he was a late addition to our game, he’s become the default face of the party since he’s the only one who has any tact or manners.

Did some more Hades inspired art of my dnd character, Morwen. This time using my favorite sad boy Zagreus as inspo.

Just finished deltarune chapter 2 and was feeling inspired to make some pixel art, so here’s my dnd character Morwen in 8 bit form!

Anyone else ever make super angsty art of your dnd character, but then feel like it’s too intense to share on social media?

I cast “get bullied in middle school”

Power word: Melvin

No joke, there’s a character in one of the dnd games I’m in who’s mother cursed him with misfortune by naming him Mishap Calamity

Part four of su inspired dnd! Morton Gordon, or Mort for short. He’s a barbarian with a penchant for talking to crows and running away ;P

Part 3 of su inspired dnd portraits! Zhel, the halfling rogue who loves to pop into conversations when you least expect it

Next up in su inspired dnd portraits… Damial, or as most people call him, Doc. The healer of the party who recently lost his hand (again). The shock has unfortunately induced an incurable case of bad hand puns.

Made Steven Universe inspired portraits of my dnd group First up is Yugen, our intrepid monk who has a bad habit of mind melding with otherworldly and vastly intelligent beings.

Reblog this post and tell me what is the level, race/subrace, and class/subclass of your D&D character(s) you are currently playing in a campaign.

Morwen Hebesgryn: 5th level, human, 4 levels monster slayer ranger, 1 level grave/war domain cleric hybrid, setting based on medieval Siberia

Gracie Goldcoast: 7th level, lightfoot halfling, 6 levels college of sword bard, 1 level archfey warlock, setting based on 18th century Europe

Basha Secondson: 10th level, tiefling, divination wizard (game on “hiatus”)

Pasha DuToit: 5th level, tortle, battlesmith artificer (guest spot)

I’ve been kind of obsessed with Hades recently and I couldn’t help but notice that Artemis shares a lot of similarities with my dnd character (down to the moon symbol on their chests). I love the artwork in the game, so I thought it might be fun to take a crack at drawing Morwen as Artemis :3

Morwen hasn’t learned her lesson about going 1v1 with heavily armored men, but when a paladin hits your morally complex kind of girlfriend what else are you supposed to do?

I was doing some witch-y research for Morwen and stumbled across the late 19th century painting, Magic Circle by John William Waterhouse, and it clicked just right. Anyway, y’all know I had to do my own interpretation of it XD

My friend introduced me to the app, reroll, where you can make li’l 8 bit portraits of your dnd characters (it’s super fun, would highly recommend). Anyway, I made this baby based off of that. Plus, it was a fun opportunity to play around with a different art style XD
